I don't mean to be factious(;)) here but would Ally McCoist even be considered a good manager outside Rangers fc - would anyone else employ him?

Pretty hard to judge him really, he has been in charge for pretty much an unprecedented period and there is really nothing to judge him against, and even when they eventually return to the SPL it can be argued he won't exactly be operating on a level playing field, one thing is for sure it would be pretty difficult for Rangers to get antyone better under their current prediciment.

Something I never understood about the whole old club - new club thing, who actually owns Ibrox? Surely if Rangers were being liquidated it would have been sold to pay off the creditors?

Or is it owned by one of these weird lease agreement things?

The players & fixed assets of Rangers were sold to Sevco for £5.5m. Duff & Phelps didnt act in the best interests of their creditors if the real value of these assets was the yardstick and not D&P's made up valuations.

    Having a bad day?

I want to hear what our friends think of their ongoing difficulties otherwise what's the point of message boards?

The men who run Ibrox have been given a reminder that they don't exist in a Rangers bubble.

Their financial advisers told them they had to clarify a couple of statements made in recent days in the bubble of the club's website. These weren't technical mistakes. They were basic and quite serious errors for a listed company.

Although Charles Green may have left the scene, his legacy lives on in the company's stock market listing. That requires an openness to which the Ibrox bosses seem to be unused.

Nobody will want to invest whilst these cowboys remain in charge.

It comes down to the group that want to gain control trying to stop which they did the AGM from happening with the proposals that were on the table McColl and Murray have fired there first real shots. King looks as though he will go about things differently and join the board he seems to feel that fighting the current regime from the inside is the best way to go. No matter what happens though it could be a long and bloody affair

Craig Mather has resigned, along with Brian Smart.

Now all ye have to do is go after people pulling his strings

300k apparently. Any confirmation of Allys "pay cut" yet?

If he takes the pay cut he said he would he's still getting in the region of £9,000 per week, an astounding figure for Mr Rangers.

Absolute joke Two nil down and three players booked with 15 minutes gone surely Ally has to walk

    Edit 2-1 Daly

Unbelievably Brechin go 3-1 up. A shot from Alan Trouten from outside the box lol lol

Not overly bothered, we're playing better and I can see us still winning this.

Even if we drop points here, it'll hardly endanger our promotion chances :pac:

    See ? 3-2, Mohsni ;)

edit: and Law makes it 3-3 :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

3-3 Nicky Law shot from outside the box into the top right hand corner

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

3-4 Clark bit of a turnaround

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

    Nicky Clark 3-4 :pac:

    edit: BBC:

'Rangers have stolen it', despite the stats being in our favour.

    hahaha, bitter or what :D

Pars 2-1 down as well, win and we go 10pts clear.

    FT, Rangers win 3-4.

Completely deserved with that second half performance, Ally made the right changes.

Yes I will give credit where it is due. But in all honesty we should never have been in that position in the first place

A new world record for the earliest sighting of a Remembrance Day poppy? The bears will be delighted with this... or will they?

    Righteous indignation to follow.

I can't wait for when Remembrance Day really happens, this place will go into overdrive.

They've been selling poppies here in Britain for the past week, I've seen loads of people wearing them, why the big deal that McCoist is wearing one.

Just another attempt at a dig I guess.
