Less attractive people

Are less attractive people more attracted to other less attractive people than an attractive person would be? For example in a nightclub setting it's pretty common you'll see two mingers eating the face off each other, are they actually attracted to each other or are they just settling? I know there's a certain level of subjectivity but some people just don't have any aesthetic qualities.

Obviously this doesn't apply to relationships and actually falling in love, I've fallen head over heels for girls that, when it comes to looks just aren't in my league. I'd take an ugly life partner who I could relate to over a wetser with no personality any day, obviously I'll go for the best of both worlds if I can though. When it comes to one night stands though it's all about looks and I won't settle.

TLDR Do less attractive people find other less attractive people attractive or are they just settling for what they can get?

this might shock you to find out, but there's no real objective standard for attractiveness, and different people will find different people attractive

Speaking as a less attractive person: No, I'm not attracted to fellow facially-unfortunate people.

Put Cara Delevingne next to someone who's short, fat, has bad skin, a big forehead & chin, crooked nose, pokey eyes and a measly mouth and tell me there's no such thing as an objective standard for attractiveness.

Sure, people will have differences in who they're attracted to visually, but overall some people ARE more attractive than others. If no such difference really existed, people like Cara wouldn't be rolling in it.

Thank you for the honesty, that being said actual ugly people are as rare as hen's teeth, a few aesthetic improvements and an attitude change will sort most people out. We're all gonna make it it the end friend

So you're not really attracted which is fine, have you ever found yourself playing tonsil hockey with a girl of her type in a nightclub? I just don't understand why people hook up with someone they're not physically attracted to.

You can tell she is actually attractive though because people are getting away with taking shots at her, there's not a hope in hell some fat bird would be allowed to be torn apart like this

I'd replace Cara D with Michelle Pfeiffer and then I'd agree with you 100%.

I can see how Cara's look wouldn't be deemed objectively beautiful. If she put on a bit of weight and got her eyebrows waxed I'd bet she'd have more admirers.

See, this quote is always thrown out there but I don't know any man who has sex with a woman and actually spends the time staring at her vagina during it.

I usually try the fit women first but that never ever works.:(:( I then drink more to heal the pain of rejection throughout the night and take home any yoke that will have me. I found Beer Goggles to be quite effective in turning horrid women into quite pleasurable looking women until the next morning. I usually set the alarm on my phone and say I have to go into work to get them away. The Uggos I pick up are quite clingy

My granny could look like that if she was wearing that much makeup... and she's been dead for 8 years.

You do know that sociologists do research on this kind of stuff, right?

Example: Computer Graphic Studies of the Role of Facial Similarity in Judgements of Attractiveness

    From the Abstract:
Using computer graphic techniques, opposite sex facial stimuli were generated from subjects’ photographs. Experiment 1 showed a correlation between attractiveness and similarity but the effect can be explained by the attractiveness of average faces. Beyond this, there was a trend for individual subjects to rate opposite sex images with a similar face shape to their own face as more attractive than other subjects. Experiment 2 allowed subjects to interactively manipulate an opposite sex facial image along a continuum from a self-similar shape, through an average face shape, to a face with opposite characteristics. No significant preferences for self-similar or opposite characteristics were found. Preferences for average faces are stronger than preferences for self-similar faces.
    (emphasis added)

Government resting upon the will and universal suffrage of the people has no anchorage except in the people's intelligence.

Another point of note would be...
Preferences for average faces are stronger than preferences for self-similar faces.

So more people prefer an average face shape than a non-average face shape.

So people with average shaped faces are objectively found to be more attractive than people wit other face shapes (with similar features)

I wouldn't a particularly bad looking fella. But there are night where I have not exactly pulled a high standard of a girl. But sometimes you have to take what you get so to speak. That said I have yet to meet a hot girl with low enough standards for me ha

Not in Donegal they aren't. Uglies are the rule not the exception. Something about in-breeding a couple of generations back.
