[Black Ops 2] MegaBitch Thread

Played last night for about 3 hours for the 1st time in about 4 months. Thankfully LAG has all but gone or at least it was last night anyway.

ONLY thing now is every 3-4 games is either nuke town OR Hyjacked. And whats worse they are alwasy voted to be played again. I REALLY REALLY REALLY hate both maps.

I've been playing nothing but vengeance in the last few weeks. despite my initial reservations, there isnt a bad map in there. well worth a purchase imo.

So much lag lately that the standard issues with hit detection in BO2 have been greatly increased.

Does anyone else ever look at an enemies killcam and think "That is definitely not how it went down!"

Its funny how when I return to MW3 there are little or no issues. IW ftw in my opinion.

I have terrible lag just down to bogband on Kildare and Laois border.

But the amount of tomes I am repeatedly stabbing only for someone to turn and slit my throat or as you say kill am showing the opposite of what I see ie I am 100% certain I get the drop only to be killed by a quick bang bang!!

If I had a good connection I reckon I would be placed much higher on leader board each game

Isn't everyone the same. I don't think I know one person that doesn't complain about their connection, whether its getting lag comped because their connection is too good, the host is **** or their connection is bad...

Until we get dedicated servers it'll stay this way

At first I was abandoning Xbox for ps4 but completely changed my mind when Microsoft listened to gamers and backtracked on a load of negatives!! Also ps4 originally stated much more powerful than the Xbox but apparently that is or was lies and the Xbox is as powerful

I think in the end the majority of fans will just go with what system they are familiar with to be hassle-free. I've been on the PS since it's inception and have no plans on changing.

Yeah me too. I've nothing against the X-box but don't see the need to have two platforms.

I highly doubt it because it will cost Activision money and they see Call of Duty as a cash cow for them . I play on PC and it's same engine with a few tweaks since Modern Warfare and they have removed proper dedicated servers since that game . There is Dedicated servers for MW3 but they are unranked and Black Ops 2 has dedicated servers for PC but they have no custom options at all .

Deleted my map pack and saved info (not the saved game).

Reinstalled the patches/updates. Still a pain to get in to a lobby, but works maybe 1 in 10 searches now. But only with team death match.

Whats happened? Anything I can do?

Mine acts like that if the NAT setting on my router is set to moderate. It'd be worth checking that first. Go into the settings on The dashboard and run a test.

It is set to moderate. Shows up on the lobby screen.
Where do I change it.

What does it do? Filter?
Its never effect me before. Only in the last week. Making it unplayable

On Xbox if you test your connection in the dashboard it usually does it, not sure about PS3

My router is an ancient zyxel pw600. I tried all the online guides about fixing it but to be honest the only solution that works on a regular basis is to turn off the router (unplug it from the mains power at the wall for 5 minutes) then, before u turn it back on, I make sure that the Xbox is the only thing connecting, I.e. no phones, laptops, ipads etc. Then when I test my connection it usually comes up ok.

Server search is a pile of horseshít.
Despite having an average ping of 40-50 in-game, whenever I have my search preferences set to anything lower than 90, it fails to find a game.

Still crossing my fingers for dedicated servers. Never gonna happen.

Stuck it in there for the first time in weeks and weeks. Played 6 or 7 games and every single game everyone in the lobby was dropping to a 1 bar. An absolute abomination of a game lol.

The worst maps of any cod. I just seem to endlessly be leaving games as soon as I'm put into a map. Game after game.

Nuketown, carrier, aftermath, drone, hijacked, overflow, turbine, magma & studio (a map I've played 100's of times)

Why in the fcuk can't you search for only the maps you want to play?

I agree that the maps are muck for the most part but getting a 1 bar isnt a regular thing or atleast not on XBOX. There are connection issues but I'm normally always on 3/4 bar. What console are you on?

Xbox. Tried playing for around 1 hour. If I was in 7 games - it happened in atleast 5.

I just downloaded the last two. The 3rd one was good. It had Summit from BO1 which was a brilliant map. The rest are pretty good Domination maps too. The 4th is kinda forgetful, nothing special. Again, the best part about the latest map pack was the older map (Courtyard from W@W, now Dig) which leads for all action play. Can't really advise you on the others.

Be aware though, that if you download whichever map pack you will find it harder to get into a game because your search criteria is basic maps, plus only the MP you chose, so it will have to tie in with everyone else who did just the same.

I actually liked all the previous Single Player modes for MW, M2 & Blops 1.
Was 1/2 way through this one and thought "Why the fcuk am I still playing this shyte!"
So I don't know how it ended. I quit around the time there was something to do with a crashed Chinese General and you had to protect a beacon.

Yeah, thought it was pretty bad. The multiple endings thing is interesting, but confuses it a little. Characters aren't remotely as good as Blacks Op, which had a great single player, loved it, this one, not so much. I actually buy COD for its single player, I do play online the odd time, but I've never found it the soul consumer other people do. The missions in the past where the best, the ones set in the future bored me. There are some great set pieces though, the very last mission has an awesome opening.
