Has anyone watched this I think its very funny and there's a touch of Seinfeld to it.
The characters and stories are done well.:)

The League as in the Fantasy football comedy? Absolutely love it, hilarious. Not sure I see any resemblance at all to Seinfeld but its a brilliant show, looking forward to season 5

I meant in stories and similar characters.

Taco, very zany similar to Kramer

Rubscon- the sarcastic one, like Jerry

    Jenny- Elaine

    Andre- the anxious one, George

Great show, delighted its been picked up for 2 more seasons.

Has it aired on any channel over here at all? While the american football aspect may put some people off there are very few instances where nfl knowledge is required to get the punchlines (only one that stands out is when pete's girlfriend tries to take over picking his team and drops michael vick, then queries if ben roethlisberger has done anything she should know about)

Jon laJoie's music is a great addition to the show, his yobagoya theme tune always cracks me up.

    Gattaca !!!!!

First 2 seasons great started getting bored with it after that. Pete's stupid facial expressions became really grating

Season 5 kicked off last night......Rafi is brilliant. Dirty Randy makes an appearance as well.
    Great episode.

Really good start to the new series. Some genuinely brilliant laughs and a nice set up to the overall series. Rafi was the highlight and the second they mentioned the domination league I was picturing Dirty Randy and co in bondage gear.

    Thread merge needed........

No need for a merge, surely this thread can be for series 5. After all a lot of lesser shows get a new thread every year.

The original thread predated this, has more comments and views....so thread merging with the original is the most logical course of action, Mr. Darko

That's like saying series 7 of Burn Notice shouldn't have it's own dedicated thread if there was an existing thread discussing the show wit more views and comments.

Solid start to the season. Rafi is one of the best fringe/secondary characters in sitcoms atm.

Very funny ep 2, Jenny again in a bikini yowza and lmao off at the second last scene, some great lines too. ;)

Just as good as episode 1 and you actually felt sorry for Andre. I think that the group dynamic was nicely handled and Ruxon existing outside the group was great. Kinda like to see them torture him a little more this series as there is nothing more fun than watching him cry in the snow.

Taco had some genius lines in the episode.
The trade going on during the speeches was hilarious. The reactions of the crowd were great.

I like how they got more real NFL players in and turned one of them into a Ruxin.

    Not enough Rafi.

But the whole porn/sister/Taco/Pee Bib/Masturabation/Vinegar Strokes set up was genius.

When Ted tried to escape from JJ's room only to open the adjoining room was brilliant, taco is a brilliant character!

Best ep so far this season?

Even with no Ruxin, still produced quality, Taco was great. LMAO at Andre's "Suprise" while Pete was getting it on. :D

Quality episode, the spray paint had me in stitches along with Snoop, and the couch scene.

Apparently, there is an episode coming up with just Dirty Randy and Rafi.

Think I may have spoke too soon when I called the latest episode of It's Always Sunny as the best episode of a comedy in years. The League may very well have one upped it. The first man cave scene was a thing of truly inspired genius and I haven't laughed as much in quite some time. Really was just a great episode and made all the more shocking when you consider that there was no Ruxon who has been the shows comedic standout for years.

I love this show, dirty randy is brilliant, possibly the funniest of Seth rogens efforts!

    That episode was absolutely hilarious.
You can see that most of that was unscripted and that the two of them were just trying to out-do each other in the carzyness stakes. If you look for some of the promo clips for this weeks episode, there are some excellent out-takes.

"Is that what you done when I asked you to take care of my cat?"

Also, Pocket Dogs should be a real thing.

That was by far one it the oddest things that I have seen in quite some time. Completely bonkers, juvenile, retardedly stupid and by far one of the funniest episodes if TV in some time. So many great lines and it was obvious that the while thing was improvised with the entire cast just trying to one up one another with the most outrageously silly line possible. One thing that was obvious is that Dana White is a terrible actor who could barely keep a straight face in any if his scenes.

Really wondering how the episode will work in the overall show. Is it a one off fantastical episode or is Rafi really dead?

He dies a year later isn't it?

I'd imagine it'll just be passed off as him faking his death, if they even mention it ever again that is!
