Cian, what a fantastic video! Never usually watch those through but had to for that. Really nicely put together.

    Got these yesterday.

. Can't wait to fit them at the weekend. New Steering wheel works out at a quarter of the price to re leather mine.
It's not as soft though but will make a huge difference for the interior as it was the only thing showing the 136k miles.

I paid 10 euro for the alloy wheel caps which I'm delighted with as some of mine are badly damaged and faded.

    Where did you get those?

Can't take credit for finding it, it was posted in the youtube thread a few days ago.
You're right though, it's so good.

Took the focus st for a spin earlier anyway was very nice. Love the sound off the engine it's class. The 4 wheels need a refurb tho and starting price is madness! Not really in position to buy at moment anyway. Might still be there when look in nov with the price they want! Three of the tyres looked kind of perished too all cracks around edge of tyres....

I can't get what I want for the price I want. I was buying that GTV as a second car. I'm thinking of the 330Ci as my only car.

Old tyres stay clear, they werent called Goodyear Excellence by any chance ?

Don't get drawn in by the first one you see, and make sure you go for a 3 door.

Really fun car but build quality is fairly crap compared to a golf gti, you will in time get squeaks/rattles/bits falling off poverty spec as standard and annoying small things that need to be fixed.

Just take it all into account :)

AH Wilkinstown, that name sounds familiar.

Coming from Dublin, is that the far side of Navan with some strange twisty roads, one decrepit petrol station and a railway line across the road with no crossing markings?

Think they were Michelin tyres can't be sure mind. There did seem to be couple rattles alright. I'll drive a few alright but I've plenty time to be looking in no rush. If tyres and wheels were sorted would be solid car I say was nice inside it and miles were 59k so low for 06. It was a 3 door too and yes I agree would have to be 3 door! It was an st3 imported from uk. Full service history.

Apart from the twisty roads (all generally straight from Navan to Nobber) that is indeed Wilkinstown. Theres also the school, Tierneys pub and the community hall where every Friday theres a farmers mart :p also the home to a Ferrari Testerossa

I've a friend who lives up that way, going to visit her involved turning off just after the railway and navigating very narrow roads, with the turnoff to her house involving a very sharp turn onto a track surrounded by a wall.

I once foolishly bought a 20kg sack of coal in that petrol station, not realising it was 20kg, and nearly collapsed trying to get it in the car :D

no that was the point of the thread, which already looks to be a little bitchy.

basically i want to advertise it for a price that it will sell for, so someone that may care for it can easily buy it. i don't want to price it too high and have it not sell and have to scrap it. i also don't want to give it away for free because when people here of a free car it will end up with some yob driving the bag out of it.

Ah! Be jaypers you're not too far away from me so when you're visiting! :p contrary to popular belief I don't live in Navan but outside it

Trying to figure this one out, turning at the pub or railway line? Both roads eventually lead to bogs :pac:

As for the shop, that's just before the crossroads to the bog before Wilkinstown. Funny bags of coal were mentioned, we used to get coal there before we got the van. I remember as a 15 year old on the school bus home listening to this one drone on to her talentless friends about this fella, how great he was that he "could bench press 20 kilos!!" etc.... She worked in that very shop at the weekends. One time she was there, I made sure she was watching as I picked up a 40kg bag of Calco over my head and proceeded to fire it into the boot of dads car.... The look of bemusment and confusion on her face was worth the telling off I got for rising so much dust by doing that :pac:

No I travelled to sandymount and Wicklow. Sadly all donedeal photos are LIES. Both received an offer but both needed a lot of work. Too much work
