Ah! Be jaypers you're not too far away from me so when you're visiting! :p contrary to popular belief I don't live in Navan but outside it

Trying to figure this one out, turning at the pub or railway line? Both roads eventually lead to bogs :pac:

As for the shop, that's just before the crossroads to the bog before Wilkinstown. Funny bags of coal were mentioned, we used to get coal there before we got the van. I remember as a 15 year old on the school bus home listening to this one drone on to her talentless friends about this fella, how great he was that he "could bench press 20 kilos!!" etc.... She worked in that very shop at the weekends. One time she was there, I made sure she was watching as I picked up a 40kg bag of Calco over my head and proceeded to fire it into the boot of dads car.... The look of bemusment and confusion on her face was worth the telling off I got for rising so much dust by doing that :pac:

20kgs? I'd bench that for breakfast and then some

no that was the point of the thread, which already looks to be a little bitchy.

basically i want to advertise it for a price that it will sell for, so someone that may care for it can easily buy it. i don't want to price it too high and have it not sell and have to scrap it. i also don't want to give it away for free because when people here of a free car it will end up with some yob driving the bag out of it.

I'd say you'd get a couple of hundred for it in considering its in such good condition.

Turn left just after the railway line and various strange buildings.

Then just before the pub/shop, turn right up a very narrow track.

And you''ve reminded me, it was a 40kg sack of coal, given I weigh just over 60 I'm surprised I didn't cripple myself. I'd never come across 40kg bags before.

The shop/pub had it's name plastered on the side, something "stores"

If that car is even 80% as good as it appears, and they can back up the history, I'd be shooting down to Cork to buy it.

    Heh :D

I can justify finishing my project car and upgrading knowing I'll get a fair chunk of what I'd pay for that car back from selling my own :D

Especially if mine had a Jan 2015 NCT :)

I'll ask on the icci. Few down in cork might know it.

Ah yes that road goes towards Oristown eventually :) every right turn on that road bar the dead end roads go to the bog :p

I'm only about 67kg myself, no matter how much I eat  the bag of coal was approx 60% of my weight!

Just discovered I have super epoxy on some of my fingers and it wont come off :(

Actually I just remembered I've a question that I could look up but am too lazy to.

Where you have cyclists, and motorists, and are in a multilane situation with a bicycle lane and the bicycle lane so happens to be in a left hand turn only lane, who has the right of way?

Does the cyclist have to move out of the lane and into the going forward lane, or does the motorist have to patiently wait for the cyclist to clear their way straight through before the motorist turns left?

I thought if it was a left hand turn only lane then the cyclist had to switch but recent NRA adds have left me confused.

I used to buy all my shoes in DCH on Trimgate :) for a mining town also once famous for furniture and carpets too!

Ever browse through the market in Fair Green on a Friday?

I like Cordners in particular, and the peculiar Jack something shop close by.

What be this market? I may be free this Friday, just after payday :D
