    Yes.

    Firstly update iTunes to 11.1.

Connect your phone and you should be able to update.

Sync your phone to ensure it has latest details as backup.

Doesn't this involve restoring though? So it's not really an update.

    last question for tonight .....
just updated my ipad retina to ios7.

i only bought this at the weekend and activated it on sunday last, so i expected to see the welcome screen to download the 5 x free iwork suite, ( pages, numbers, keymote, imovie & iphoto )

do i have to do anything to prompt this, or just wait, ? or contact apple maybe.
    any ideas.
tks in advance. off to bed head in mush

I bought a IPad last week and downloaded the new iOS this morning. When I opened the App Store it offered me this suite for free so I did a Download All

Does anyone know with the new FaceTime Audio only feature does the person you are calling have to have iOS7 also or will the call go through to their older iOS FaceTime without video?

They will more than likely need iOS7 too

Updated my iPhone 5 without a problem. I'm a little wary of updating the iPad 3. Airdrop won't work with it. Apple really p!ssed me off as an iPad owner in recent months.

Is there a time span on when it's due in Ireland?

Also having an issue with my old hotmail account. The mail app is saying that there's a few thousand unread emails every few mins even though they're all marked as read.
I go into it unread them and then mark them as read and it's grand for awhile until the next push says they're unread again. Very annoying lol

Installed and seems to be working fine on my 4S. The only problem I have at the moment is that iMessage and FaceTime are not activated - have been awaiting activation for a while now. Has this been an issue for anybody? I'm with 3 ..
    It seems you're not alone:

''In addition to the issues surrounding iOS 7 installation and app updates, some users are also reporting issues with Apple's activation servers. It's unclear how widespread this is.''

What's the story with weather in notifications? I don't see an option to include it on my wife's iPhone 4 and I don't see an option to remove it from my iPad 3.

This must be the buggies OS install to date.

I've been using this since July, updated my iPad 2 to the public release version this morning and I have to say I thought a lot of little niggles (calendar displays being one of them) were bugs that would be ironed out. Disappointed to see that they weren't. Having played with this on both tablet and phone versions of iOS, I have to say I'm glad I don't use an Apple phone as my daily driver...

There seem to be a good few issues going around! The update was a well advertised, worldwide release. Might have been smarter for them to stagger it by time zone....

I have a scabby 8 gig 4 and I deleted everything except pictures and music and still not enough room for it so I may leave it now and not bother. Can't figure out a way around it because I really don't want to lose my music or photos

@plastik same thing happened my sister but hers did eventually activate

Backup the photos to Flickr, Dropbox or Copy, perhaps

Well when I updated, it treated my phone as a new phone and I had to do a restore.

I see there is still no option to set the first day of the week from Sunday to Monday.

And why can't I sign in to iTunes/App store?!

Also why doesn't notifications give me the actual temperature?

Just showers conditions with 35kph winds from the south west..,

    Restore from iTunes.

Or, go to the App Store and go to the 'Cloud' tab where you can download them again :)

Anyone having a problem downloading apps? This comes up for me after I click download but won't let me press ok. I essentially can't go any further.

The App Store has been acting up since yesterday. It's not an iOS 7 problem. Try quitting the app and trying again.

    Very nice!

Is that new for iOS 7 or has it always been there?
