How do you now turn off the apps?

    Swipe up.

My logitech bluetooth keyboard doesn't work with iSSH since I upgraded to iOS7. Annoying as hell.

Any idea how to do this:

On iOS 6 I'd put my daily "events" in the Calendar, so in the notification centre I had a simple, clear as day, list of sh!t I had to do.

On iOS 7 Calendar makes no sense in notification centre now. Any way I can achieve a bog standard list of my days events like the above? Cheers

does anyone know about the parallax feature. i cant seem to find it in the menus and dont see it working on the home screen, so i assume its switched off?
    tks

also voice gender is missing from siri options?

    am i missing something...

Going to Settings > General > Accessibility gives you the option to Reduce Motion which basically lets you turn Paralax on and off.

Going to Settings > General > Siri and switching the language from English (UK) to (US) gives you the option of male or female as well as the new more natural Siri voice.

Is anyone elses iphone/itouch stuck in LA time?

Yea mine was. I went to settings=>general=>date & time=>set automatically=>OFF & it then showed dublin as the time zone which changed the time setting to correct time

My iPad mini doesn't seem to want to do it OTA. Coming up with 6.1.3 as up to date.

Any ideas what that's about ?

Mine was like that also, the 6.1.3 update has been there ages and I never bothered with it.

I thought maybe I needed the latest 6.x to update to 7.0 over wireless so I hit update. iPhone did the usual verify, switch off, Apple logo with load bar, then when it came back up the download progress in software update menu shows that its downloading iOS7.0.
    So maybe just hit update.

After reading the posts here during release time, i decided to go to bed and try this morning, downloaded IPAD4 version in 12 minutes, and installed cleanly.
Now its the moment of truth, will the APP's that I REALLY NEED, actually work.
    Fingers crossed.

    So far so good.......

iPhone 4 download showing 9 minutes.

Those apps are only free for new devices. I'd say it's probably done from the activation date so you are probably out of luck. Could also be that they are only free on device released after the announcement either.

Anyone that downloaded it, can you check the build number? It's after version in settings>General>about. Thanks

You need to download them from the app store. It's separate software to iOS7

You're half right, it is done by the activation, available to devices activated after Sept 1st - the OP isn't out of luck by the sounds of things.

You sure about that. I thought the keynote said new devices only.

It works well on my iPhone 4, I do like the new look but since my international phone is a Windows Phone (I travel abroad alot) I can't help but notice the new fonts and status bar look similar to Window's layout.

Still looks very nice, and I do like the new Ui and the Control Centre is handy to knock it into flight mode etc.

Yeah, but they defined "new" as activated after september 1st.

This article references the following footnote from the Apple site.
iPhoto, iMovie, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers are free on the App Store for qualifying iOS 7 compatible devices activated after September 1, 2013. See www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/for iOS 7 compatible devices. Downloading apps requires an Apple ID.

Feck this is mad, like getting a new phone. The text is so crisp, can't believe something so trival can make such a huge difference!

Big difference.. The option of holding the camera button takes shot after shot!

Now installed but have lost 80% of apps despite doing a restore from iTunes.
Also lost all music so have to download all apps and music from the cloud which is a pain.
    Why does this happen?

After installing did you restore from the most recent backup and sync in itunes?

Majority seem to love it on here . The harsh white background of the keyboard would make people with eye problems very hard to see what they are doing its fine on face book . I can't wait for next update so we can have option to go back the way it was . I deleted a lot of apps and photos to prepare for this !! I think they have lost the plot to be honest with this update .
