    It's possible that if somebody got the game on Friday, they could have it cracked before it's released. And people would download the cracked version, even if they had only to wait a few days for the real thing.

    With the whole GameStop problem with pre-buying the game at midnight, what if all the pre-orders are booked out and there's no one else going to be able to buy the copy on the night, what are they going to do then?

    It was meant to be exclusive to preordering but I've seen it mentioned that there'll be a code in every box of the game sold.

    Gamestop charged me €79.99 to pre-order the special edition in store, has anyone else paid less in the same situation?

    I paid €65 for the standard but was going to see if I can upgrade to Special Edition

    I paid €74.98
    (€5 deposit couple weeks back and €69.98 the other day when I paid the rest)

    I'd go back in for that fiver they owe you :pac:

    what do you get extra in the special edition ? im guessing its probably worth the extra 10 . but 65 quid is steep for a standard game , don't think iv ever paid that for a new release . even black ops and grand turismo could be got for 45 on release day

    Silly me, I just found the receipt from when I put down the deposit. Turns out the voucher that I used had a fiver on it not a tenner. However when I add up what they charged me with trade ins and cash as well it comes to €74.98, score!

    I traded in the new splinter cell there last week to pay off a bit of the pre-order (finished storyline, wasn't planning on playing it online), guy at the counter said I got like 20-30 quid for it!

    I played GTA 3 on it a week ago and Timesplitters 2 last night.

    It will be good for a lot longer than that my friend. Especially with the online malarky. Even without the online part, if the map is that huge and the activities are as plentiful this game will be played for years.

    I really think this game is going to seriously dent the sale of the next gen consoles for a while.

    This isn't 'any other' big release. It's probably the biggest release of any game, ever.

    As for month and a half play time..big time hahahahah

    I got loads of ps2 games which I liked, if my ps3 was backwards compatible I'd still be playing them, probably GTA SA too!

    If the ps4 was backwards compatible I'd go for it, seeing as its not I'm not pushed about getting one, not until they start releasing ps4 only game I'll think about it!
