Just picked up 2 in Liffey Valley. Thanks OP.
"Let me just check they're the right ones - they seem very cheap" said the woman on the counter.

Thought I was rumbled but she still gave them to me.

Yep got one in Childers road, it was last weekend.

Asked to view first and then purchased once I saw the Vax logo on the box.

Willing to swap a code for Queens Old Castle for either Cork Retail Park or Mahon Point.
The reason being is Queens old Castle branch closes at half 6 whereas the other two are 9pm and will be a small bit tight to go up after work.

I just collected this VAX today in the Ilac off Henry St - I didn't do much research to be honest and have just realised I can't use it (for sealed hard floors only). All of my downstairs is decked out in Balterio Laminate :( Instead of returning it I can hold it for someone if they are interested - I have the receipt - cost €32.99. It's a VAX S87-T2 Steam Mop and can meet on Henry St, Wed to Fri. Regards, Jules.

It can be used on laminate flooring. The booklet inside the box will tell you what it can be used on. Sealed hard floors, laminate, lino, tiles and on carpet when used with the glider attachment which is included.

Wonder could it be used on couches with this attachment (mine's still in the unopened box)

Many thanks Yawns - On Balterio's website they mention not to use a Steam Mop, I guess I should also read the booklet - as I said I didn't do much research!

Thanks again Yawns but from what I read with regards to Balterio Laminate and Steam I'm not going to risk it - I'm selling my one if anyone is interested - I'll return it tomorrow if I don't hear from anyone. Cheers.

Just picked one up on Drogheda an hour or so ago reserved it the other day and got a text to say it arrived yesterday. The girl on the checkout said "you may receive a substitute item but it will be of equal or better value is that all right with you?" Eh yes :D The lad who handed over the mop said to me that it was really cheap and he was going to have a look see if there was any more and if so he was going to buy one :D
I had the same trouble with the cloth coming off I knotted the string behind the toggle and it seems to be staying on now!

    Thanks to the OP
