    Resources
Vapers Network - good resource for all the factual data out there.
E-Cig Reviews - great review site from a nice English bloke called Scott.

The above links are currently dead.

Are there any shops in Cork City Centre that stock decent e-cigs? I'm wary of there being so much crap on the market but the online stores confuse the hell out of me.

Just a couple of places that sell those eGo-clearo setups (Paul St. Shopping Centre stall outside Tesco, Smokefree store on the corner of North Main St./Castle St.), VapourPal in Ballincollig are the only ones selling fancy stuff (and the Vmist 'Rainbow Fruit' juice is incredible but probably sickening if you don't have a sweet tooth).

You're on a forum! It's like having an interactive guide with slut-shaming thrown into the mix (that Miley, what a hussy). What are you looking for and what are you confused by?

Mainly the different brands of e cig stuff. I have no idea what's good and what's not. They're expensive enough to get started with so I don't want to walk into a shop and have them sell me a dud.

I'll try the stall in Paul St. and the Smokefree shop later today.

How much do you want to spend?

An ego-t battery with a CE4 clearomiser and charger is about €20, its a pretty cheap and easy way to kick off. 10ml of juice is about a fiver.

Then read this forum for a few weeks (ignore all the mod/build your own threads, they are for people who have given up smoking AND building Hornby train sets and using e-cigs to cure their addiction to both!) and boosh, you are ready to start varying voltages and trying different clearomisers!

I was thinking exactly the same as you yesterday morning and was planning a trip up to Cork because I was so confused and wanted to actually see what it was all about. I ended up counting all my expenses of busfare etc and took the plunge and ordered an Ego mini kit from bargain vapour together with 100ml of gold and silver tobacco . It arrived first thing this morning and I'm amazed. :D
I can already say I'm off the fags. A couple of drags and all your cravings are gone. I don't know if 24 mg strength is too strong for me but it definitely makes you forget to light up. It's the first time in ages, I can actually look at my cigs and not want to light up.
I'm sold on vaping and I was a smoker for nearly 40 years.
I've tried to give up in the past and hated the nicorette and had too many side effects to cope going cold turkey. I'm sure I can do it this time.

There'll probably be side-effects with this too, be warned. Quitter's flu still happens and your gums may start to bleed while they repair themselves and creep back up to where they should be. And farts smell worse.

I've had the gum problems where my teeth felt loose last time I tried to quit, the one that bothers me most is restless legs at night. My feet also start to tingle. I think that's from smoke, but to cope with that together with nicotine withdrawal always defeats me.
I've had a few puffs this afternoon and it's really powerful. The strength of juice I have is 24mg and maybe that's too strong. Anyways there's still no urge to light up and the packet is staring at me:) long may it last.
My feet are also starting to tingle so I know I'm not smoking.

I picked up an e cig in the shop today. I was probably ripped off for what I got, but I'm moving into a new place tomorrow and I don't want to start smoking there so this will do for a bit. I'll probably get the kit that's recommended further up the thread in a few days time, once I have postal addresses sorted. The liquid I got is gash though. There's a kind of syrupy fake sugar taste to it.

This is the kit I want to see.

    2 x kanger evod batteries
1 x mini protank (comes with instructions how cool is that)
    1 x usb charger

what more do you need, reliable as fxxk should only cost about €40 ish and an easy entry into the world of vaping.

    What would you recommend?

For an extra €15 you'd get the ESI starter kit that comes with more and boat loads of juice.

A lot of US sites do that kit, 2 batts, 2 mini protanks, charger and a few spare coils. It's foolproof, I know because that's what I'm using atm but I had to get all the bits separately.

    Looks well too http://www.vapedojo.com/collections/kits/products/kanger-mini-protank-starter-kit

I prefer using the mini eGos with it out and about though just because they're a bit shorter.

Personally I'd want the Evod over the Protank, but that's just personal preference!

I did see your other posts but for some reason must have imagined you'd got sorted out.
I have a short agr tube here that's looking lonely. PM me your details and I'll throw it in the post today or tomorrow.
