As it's a nice day I'm going for a drive.

Can anyone recommend a nice route south of Dublin?

Nothing for you so man, not from up there so that's all I know :o

You could always do the military road again.
It's always better I find when you know it well...you can go faster.

Another would be bray to glendalough.

Or you could head out via the n81 to saggart go through Newcastle and up to castlewarden/Ardclough.
Visit the tomb of Arthur Guinness and the view is unreal (you can see 7 counties) and then head back towards saggart out the n81 to the Sally gap and down to glendalough.
Or in saggart (if coming from the n81) take a left at the crossroads in the middle of the village and head up towards red gap.
Keep going out their and you'll come out around punches town.
Both have proper country roads with some great bends and views that climb and fall.

I sometimes take the n81, turn off for knockanarrigan heading for the glen of immal. It's a nice drive with lots of twists and turns, but watch out for wildlife!. Then I usually end up in laragh, head up the sally or wicklow gap and back home.

Make it interesting so. New shocks / springs, anti roll bars and those poly bushes. Totally different motoring experience. :)

Folks, the ould fella has a 1981 Honda CB900 bike, it's been off the road for years, what does he do re getting it logged as off the road? He also doesn't remember when it was last taxed, any way to find out about this?

I went to the tax office about declaring one of my cars off the road as it has been off the road since August 2012

Basically get the exact same form as previous and signed by gards and another form to declare it off the road.

Can only be signed and handed back to the tax office after the 1st September

As for the other query does it have a previous tax disc on the bike? ring the tax office on mon

Rf100a stamped by a guard and rf150 with how long it's off the road for.
In his case 1 year minimum.
Motor tax will tell how long the tax has been out.
I'm going to guess the last time it was taxed if was feck all to tax.
