    :D No, unfortunately :( I was hoping to but I didn't get it. :/ I got accommodation not too far from the college though so it's not too bad.

    It's not as good as it used to be when I was in first and second year tbh. I'm going into my fifth year now. Hopefully it'll pick up this year though. Mal will need to really encourage people to come back.

    When the SU is busy it's great though. There's always a really good atmosphere and good craic. The balls tend to be really good too. They nearly always sell out too.

    Where does everyone go so? :/ also do many first years normally live in Rye do you know? Haven't found a single person on here yet :/

    Monday: Mantra or Roost
    Wednesday: Bradys or Mantra
    Thursday: Roost

    O'Neills is quieter and Caulfields is the old man / banquo's pub

    I don't know for definite about Rye but I have known a few first years living there. Don't worry about that though. You'll know plenty between all the campus blocks and people in your course and everywhere else! :-)

    Hi RVP, yeah there is a poker soc, its texas hold'em and there is a game every tuesday night in the SU, 20 quid buy in :)
