Did you really have to quote the image?

I agree. No need for quoting images at all.

Anytime a screenshot appears online without a bunch of others to go with it I'll always have my doubts. To date Rockstar have always released the screenshots in groups.

Well the Boards-ie crew has hit 100 members. Should nearly always be someone from the crew online when you are Online.

I heard it was confirmed that the digital version of GTA V will be available on the PSN store on release day. I know someone was asking about it or that might have been the PS+ thread.

I think you also get 75% off another GTA title if you pre-order on PSN

That screen shot is BS unless Rockstar has signed a deal with Lamborghini to use licensed cars which I highly doubt.

Indeed. Why pay Lamborghini millions to use their cars when you can just use their cars, change a few lines in the bodywork and call it the Lamb-bar-Gianni.

That'll do me as backup. Doubt I'll need it, but just in case I can't get it anywhere in the first few days.

A second to last resort. Last resort would be trying to get it for 360 and "borrowing" my brothers console :pac:

The ESRB rating of Gta V is out, I ****ing love the sound of this! :D

    http://kotaku.com/you-can-smoke-pot-in-gta-v-according-to-official-ratin-1173843764
Within the game, TV programs and radio ads contain instances of mature humor: myriad sex jokes; depictions of raw sewage and feces on a worker's body; a brief instance of necrophilia (no nudity is depicted).

Some sequences within the larger game allow players to use narcotics (e.g., smoking from a bong, lighting a marijuana joint); cocaine use is also depicted. Players' character can, at various times, consume alcohol and drive while under the influence. The words “f**k,” “c*nt,” and “n**ger” can be heard in the dialogue.

"players also have the ability to shoot non-adversary civilians, though this may negatively affect players' progress as a penalty system triggers a broad police search. "

Im worried about this, im not sure if this suggests a karma system based in the game or whether it refers to the current "star" system.

A karma system would destroy GTA for me, isnt the whole premise of gta to go on rampages without penalty in the game?

Indeed, getting bored between missions and unleashing as much mayhem as you can without it affecting the plot is what GTA is great for. When I get bored I obey traffic signals :pac:

I remember in the first driver game, if you didn't obey the rules of the road perfectly the cops would chase you... :(

Anyway, I never really looks forward to a ps3 game as much as I'm looking forward to GTAV. I just hope it's not a big let down.

There better be hookers or I wont be happy.

    Full Summary
Rating Summary: In this open-world action game, players assume the role of three criminals whose storylines intersect within the fictional city of Los Santos. Players can switch between each character to follow his storyline, completing missions which often include criminal activities (e.g., stealing cars, executing heists, assassinating targets). Players use pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles, and explosives to kill various enemies (e.g., rival gang members); players also have the ability to shoot non-adversary civilians, though this may negatively affect players' progress as a penalty system triggers a broad police search. Blood-splatter effects occur frequently, and the game contains rare depictions of dismemberment. In one sequence, players are directed to use various instruments and means to extract information from a character; the sequence is intense and prolonged, and it involves some player interaction (i.e., responding to on-screen prompts).

The game includes depictions of sexual material/activity: implied fellatio and masturbation; various sex acts that the player's character procures from a prostitute—while no nudity is depicted in these sequences, various sexual moaning sounds can be heard. Nudity is present, however, primarily in two settings: a topless lap dance in a strip club and a location that includes male cult members with exposed genitalia in a non-sexual context.

It specifically refers to a police search. It's just the wording in that summary that might confuse people a bit.

So im not really bothered about having this game on the day of release or even the month, but I will want it close to Christmas will it be impossible to get around that time ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

Seems like the karma section of the rating is just outlining how you can chose to shoot civilians but if you do you will receive a wanted level star/s.

    More than likely.

In driver 3 if you drove past a cop at high speed or broke the lights when a cop was in distance of you, they'd give chase, and they were tough cops! Still good fun though
