Well the important thing to ask about this is, did you use your phone to get a grainy completely non-focused spinning confusing video with women screaming occasional obsenities and plenty of pavement.

    hopefully yes.

Twitter is saying there's blood all over Talbot street.

Sounds like it might have been a nasty attack.

Hate hearing stories like this where nobody interventions and they watch people get hurt!

    Cowardly Cnuts

Except the guy was obviously ape****, and had a golf club in his hand, and was attacking people at random. But yeah, someone should totally have risked getting a club to the face, take one for the team.

I'm surprised that nobody has reported this yet..

Apparently it was a security guard who attacked a shoplifter..or so people say on twitter.

And can the jury press "Like" if they agree with the sentencing?

I find it hard to believe a security guard would attack a shoplifter with a golf club.

    Must be more to it.

It's hard to walk up Talbot street without seeing someone shooting heroin in one of the alley ways or junkies standing around drinking, causing agro or shoplifting from some of the small shops along there.

The place is a kip thanks to a small minority of scum who make traders lives a misery.

I'll be passing by in a half hour or so. I'll post anything I see - although apparently it was hours ago.

Oh there definitely has to be more to it.

I'm not believing that for word, it's just what I found on twitter. In fact I'm not believing anything on twitter until I see it being reported by a news outlet.

Been working around Talbot st for 5 years now, nothing like this has ever happened, usually junkies fighting is all, (during the day, kinda quiet at night(except for junkies))

I arrived after it happened! security had closed the doors, shoppers trapped inside at the back and ONE guard arriving walking in through the main doors, but then like 6 or 7 more arrived about 10 mins later.

Girl in my work here was one of the shoppers who was in the back of the shop, said there was loads of people hiding with her, she didnt know what was going on, just heard shouting and said when leaving the store there was blood everywhere inside. Blood out on the street outside the supervalu main door, apperantly the guy ran in with golf club, attacked the security guy, said security hit him back out the door, thats where the blood came from anyway.

But yeah why is there no news on this anywhere, I dont use twitter so... but there was a hell of a lot of people standing around(albeit they could do nothing) watching and taking video, no one was recording pavement :pac:
