I'd take Billy Sharp over Doyle.

Of course but I rather be signing someone good! These guys are squad filler and I rather see development and u19 players be used instead.

I agree, I'd like to see Watt give more minutes. Give him a chance to fill Hoops boots!

He was released without charge when he came clean and said "i was the one"

Apparently he left his victim "all shook up"

King Kenny coming up for Stan's charity game.

Kenny Dalglish will make a return to Paradise & be involved in the Stiliyan Petrov #19 Legends’ match. King Kenny will be in the dugout, taking charge of one of the teams. Pierre van Hooijdonk also confirmed, via his twitter account that he'll be taking part in the match joining the likes of Roy Keane, Neil Lennon, Lubo Moravcik & Tom Boyd.

@pierrevh17: Looking forward to 8th of september when i will return to #Celtic park to take part in Stiliyan Petrov's match.#hailhail

For a guy who left Celtic under something of a cloud given his wage dispute with McCann he certainly does seem to like putting on a Celtic top when he can. Generally speaks well of the club too.

Jog on!!! Try double that amount then just maybe.....

Benfica, Jesus wants to close to Forster

Looking for a goalkeeper, Benfica is pursuing the deal for Fraser Forster. As reported by O Jogo , the Eagles could close with Celtic for less than four million Euros. Benfica have tackled player last year in the Champions League, and Forster was very impressed coach Jorge Jesus.

If Norwich were talking £8million for Ruddy then Forster is worth that at least. Any idea whats left on his contract?

I would say that he let the support down with his nonsense about the 'wages being good for a homeless man'. Maybe this is way of redemption

Paper filler. Forster is on a long term contract, 2016, and not even in the highly unlikely scenario that if Forster threw the toys out of the pram big time would Celtic sell for £4m and especially not at this stage of the transfer window with Celtic pushing for a UCL place.

Totally forgot that remark Dub,yer right though it was really daft.
The 3 Amigos were a handful for any defence but none of them got the better of wee Fergus.

Here's hoping that's all it is tbh,cos he took some amount of stick from our own fans and made them look foolish by his performances where it matters most.

Jaysus i would highly rate Forster i would expect the guts of 8 million if he had to be sold,He is now a near enough regular in the England squad.

I also see Scott Parker is tipped to join QPR for 2 mill,I wouldnt mind if we got him up here for a season or 2

No chance of him taking the necessary wage drop and means dropping Ledley, Brown or Forrest or playing a 5 man midfield regularly. He's a good player, excellent attitude, but not a good fit for Celtic imo

The wages would be a massive stumbling block yeah,Just thing with his expierence he might be a good choice for big european nights etc...Anywho i much rather Lenny's policy of finding younger players with sell on value

Anyone know anything about Teemu Pukki? Apparently, we have made a bid for him according to Kicker in Germany
