Just a FYI The Verge have a live show on at 8PM.

Also just seen this on Google+.

    That's interesting.

It'd have to be truly astounding. I can't help but wonder if Google have had more hidden up their sleeve and more to do with this phone than we thought.

Me too, tbh im sold, they dont need to win me over they just to not f@@k up and leave something important out. I cant get over the internet hype on this, though in saying that alot of my less techie friends wouldnt have a clue what a MotoX is :D

me too , i have an S4 but i still have my Galaxy Nexus, S4 is a great phone but its a bit big, and the touchwhiz overlay makes it laggy in parts, plus theres plenty of bloat ware, the s4 has thought me i just dont need a phone that big, a processor that fast, but i do need a nice fitting phone that runs Android Nexus snappy.

I've got a feeling this could be a bit underwhelming. The leaked specs are very similar if not the same as the Droid Ultra that was recently announced. If this is just a Droid Ultra without the Verizon branding then that's pretty unimpressive especially given how much they've hyped it up. Hopefully, it's a game changer though.

That camera flick is just plain stupid. Basically asking you to smack the phone off the floor.

    From the Motorola website.
People are skydiving out of space ships. But you can't design your own phone? Not anymore. Now Moto X lets you choose the front, the back, the accents, the wallpaper, the memory, and add a signature phrase. It’s all your call.

$199 on contract was it? Waste of time in that case. $400 off contract?

    $400??

Looking at it I'd say the target audience is the teenage hipster, although I do like some aspects of it (battery life being more important than screen resolution for one).

Any sign of the off contract price. Why would you bother with this for 199 contract:confused:

Doesn't look like it is being sold off contract.

They are, but only price I've seen is $400.

Looks like they be waiting awhile in America never mind in Europe.
This makes no sense to me now.

I highly doubt it's only twice the price off contract, where did you see $400?

Edit: According to Android Police there has been no mention of an off contract price.

    They're not releasing it yet

Seen it on twitter, which made no sense with the contact price.
AT&T have it exclusively for the customization.

So off contract looks like will be waiting for ages.

    What a waste.

A mid range phone for the price of a high end one (contract that is).... It's bizarre, still locked into carrier models. I fully expected this to come in around 300 dollars unlocked.
