Don't know if it's the best weather for it but they need to be done, plus have no idea what I'm facing as neighbour is 79 so could be as wild as deer.

Jayzuz, if he's wild at 79, what was he like at 25:eek:

I presume its the fear of not knowing what your going to be facing, adds to the excitement

I was going with 'littlemanintheboat' but choose a book title instead.

And yes, technique and feeling are essential for the man in the boat.

    As Mr. Garson said...........

Hahaha, thanks. Mad little buggers so they were:mad: I've a right lump forming on my shin from a well placed kick out the side of the crush.

Arrived back to see half an almost full grown leveret sitting where I normally park the van. And a lovely gnawed hare leg sitting under my bedroom window. Thank f*ck I closed my window before going or else that would have been sitting on my bed.

Glad I made the most of the good summer so far around the farm in terms of jobs done. Especially since the first half of August now looks like a return to wind/rain ie the usual rubbish that passes for an "Irish" summer:(.
