I've never had a screen protector fall off on me and I've had the same screen protector on my HTC Desire HD for for years.

I have the speck case in white. It adds a little bulk but gives good protection. My little one steals my phone to watch youtube and drops it a lot.

Hey guys I got a Htc One and was thinking of what accessories to get....
I was thinking getting the htc one zagg invisible shield for it..
And a otterbox defender case for it...
    What do ye think?
Would the otterbox case affect the heat of the phone as I don't want to damage it!
And the Zagg screen protector , Good?
I'm going for optimum protection!

Why don't you just buy a role of bubble wrap?

I would never recommend a screen protector as they all eventually fall off taking the oleophobic coating off the screen with them, eventually making the screen an oil and fingerprint magnet.

You know if the Zagg ones do that, take off the coating? Been using one for ages and no sign of it coming off; whilst they are meant to be removable! :pac:

I think the latest update resolves this...also there's an option in the dev section that if enable says that every time phone is connected to pc it enables debugging mode so I assume that was causing it :)

    * just noticed that I no longer see developer options in the settings menu.
Not sure if this is a result of the 4.2 update or from unlocking the bootloader yesterday.

You have to enable developer options. Tap repeatedly on Build Number. It's in Software Information>More

Ya I like your thinking on the bubble wrap.......very productive....:D

Well it's an expensive piece of tech... And I want to keep it in good nick for the long run...

Just getting a general opinion on what cases people use....

For cases I have the double dip flip one and its quite good, and easy to pop the phone out to pop it into the brodit car holder I have.

Got my update to 4.2.2 on Vodafone today, hopefully the battery is better!

Unfortunately i am not finding the battery any better since update. It can still take up to 5 hours to charge. Don't get the day out of it either.
My two year old iPhone 4 still has a better battery.......
Btw I don't have too much running in background

Will need to get a second charger. Will an old Samsung micro usb charger be ok. It is 0.7amp and HTC is 1 amp?

    Thanks

Download the app sms backup this will store the messages on Gmail then download the same app on your one. When you register on the app again you can restore the messages to the one

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who thinks Android email clients are complete and utter crap (I do, or did). Just found Boomerang mail. Its still in development but the only one I've seen that doesn't look like the interface was developed by a blind rabbit on acid. Looks amazing on the HTC One's 1080p screen (looked awesome on my mates HTC One X as well). They just updated it with push notifications today. The boomerang bit means you can set a mail to be resent to you at a specific time so it acts like a reminder/todo app as well. Love it. Just disabled the default gmail and HTC mail apps after using this (it can only access gmail at present but more coming).

Does anyone else have the double dip hard shell case?
Has it scratched or damaged your phone?
Love the look and simple build of this case but can it damage the sides of the phone when sliding the device in or out....

It could have been an almost perfect case!

Surely it would be faster to search in the iPhone store on your phone which you presumably have on you, than to ask that question and wait for a reply?!?

That's not what I meant (I'm not that stupid). I don't own an Iphone. I was only asking as if it isn't then it's hardly going to work for transferring messages from an Iphone to an Android device!

I had it on my phone since April just took it off last week and found some small scratches. I bought one of the clear ones off eBay instead and its like I've a new phone. Its much nicer looking now. The double dip case made it harder to type for some reason and also the opening for the camera on the back was covering part of the lense.

I think you need to add the mobile data settings for android, try this

should be simple enough and voila!
