Anyone having trouble getting their Cyfra card to update?

I usually just stick on TVP 1 or Eurosport HD but neither seems to be updating the entitlements.

I had some hassle but it updated eventually. TVP 1 sd is the channel, like yo said. I assume you contacted satsklep to send an activation signal

Confirmation from satsklep about adding the 6 channels to nc+ comfort package for 269€ (12months).

The 6 canal+ channels will work all the time and include all sports, including EPL, which will mainly be shown on canal+sport.

So for 269€ you get an awful lot of bang for your bucks. For me & my family especially its a great deal, including 17 HD channels. (we speak both Polish and English).

    http://www.satsklep.pl/pl/p/nC-Pakiet-Comfort-/688

An 18 month Canal+ card now available for €276.60. It's the better value offer if its only the Premiership, La Liga etc that's of interest.

    http://www.satsklep.pl/en_US/p/nC-Package-Canal-Start-18-Months/1334

Otherwise the 12 month card is a far better proposition.

What is expected to be on the Nsport channel though? Anything of significance?

Were the champions league matches not all on nsport last season? Will they move to a different channel next season?

I think i made a mistake in my previous post it was an 18month card i was offered not 12. I was offered this http://www.satsklep.pl/en_US/p/nC-Package-Comfort-/688 plus the canal+ channels for 269€. So i am wondering if that list is accurate above with excludes a load of channels?

its basicly for anyone who wants the premier league and canal+ only.

and is what ill be ordering around September hopefully

Serious? If that's the case, it's an absolute steal for 18 months and is far, far better value than the one I linked to. The only difference seems to be that "my" :p one seems to have a few different HD channels (Ale Kino HD, Domo HD) but doesn't have Eurosport, Fox, National Geographic etc.

But the card snaps links to, if it is 18 month, is cheaper, has the canal+ channels AND has Eurosport and a few more english audio channels.

now that they have The canal plus on the other card will they still offer it as as an add on to the comfort pack one, and thee is no online link to buy that card with the canal+ added either

Satsklep told me they can add the canal+ channels to any required card.

sorry to interupt but just to confirm if one wants epl on hotbird the only option is the polish card, that being the case which of the above packages provides this?

and from previous seasons how many games on per week and does it include saturday 3pm.

That looks like they added 62€ to the basic pack price of 207.55€ to add the canal+ channels. So in theory if you wanted all of their sports channels (both eurosport channels, nSport, orance sport, etc.) plus the canal+ channels you could get this card 288€ plus the 62€ --> 350€ in total... not too bad for 18 months.

Snaps, did you mail or phone to get the canal+ channels added?

Cyfra have shown 4 games on average per weekend. Usually a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5. I find that they usually only show a Sat 3pm game if one of Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal or City are playing. If you are a Liverpool supporter (as I am) they don't normally show their Sat 3pm games.

Last season you could also get EPL on Sky Italia on Hotbird. However, I understand Fox has snapped up the rights for the next 3 years in Italy so it is unclear how to subscribe to this channel for next season. I understand that Sky Italia cards can only be used in their official receivers but I have never subscribed to them so I have no first hand experience of this.

It's not the only option (Sky Italia, Nova for starters) but, for now, it appears to be the most economical and easily obtainable solution.

The other two are also tied to receivers, afaik. The Cyfra card will read and update in most receivers with a card reader.

It will be bundled with Sky Calcio. Read that here somewhere.

slightly off top my receiver as both a common interface and conditional access, so should a cyfra card work away as is on my receiver?

or do I have the following option of using an al Jazeera card and a cyfra card at the same time in my receiver, that is not have to take one out to swap between subscriptions?

the spec on my receiver says CONAX Multi Card Reader ( IRDETO, CRYPTOWORKS ) is that sufficient

    tks

the cyfra/nc+ card will work with your conditional access

I would use the al jazerra in the ci slot and then get a seca cam for the conditional access slot and use the nc+ card in that.

Would the other way round make sense also, as the Viaccess cams are a fair bit cheaper?

I think it's because nC+ might be a bit fussier with entitlement updates and may not update entitlements properly on a multislot?

that's what I've used. Never had any problems with al jazerra in a multi cam slot (built in card reader) but have with a seca card (cyfra). Cyfra card worked fine in an old astoncrypt seca cam module.

I'd agree with that. I now have CAMs for both cards anyway (at one stage I had three subs) but the JSC card was a model student and worked in any card slot. It didn't seem to matter if I was gone for weeks..never a problem, always worked.

On the other hand, I occasionally had to give Satsklep a request to sort out the Cyfra card if it missed an update (normally after some inactivity). I got a CAM and the problem went away.
