Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Heute:

    Snatch:
    Very fast in the warmup, began to slow a lot.
    6 doubles at 82.5, better sweep in so they were reasonably consistent. Retook two sets
    1 single at 85, missed the first,
    3 singles at 87.5, no misses. Damn though, they were slow as hell. Nice to make 95% consistently after a load of work. Starting to become a bit more consistent, getting some feedback after the hips finish (as in I know whether it's going to stick or not).

    Snatch pull: 3x3x100kg

    pause back squat+back squat 3x1+2 at 115kg

    pushups+rows at 65kg

    Easier than last week, squats were tough but laughable compared to the snatches. Had to destroy some feelings during them!

    planks: 2x30s at 50kg, noticed I was piking a bit. Lowered it to 25kg for final set, will lower back to 10kg next time and see if I can close down the ribcage a bit more

    Never go "for a pint" when over reaching and have a heavy session the next day. This was horrendous! I don't think I'd have done the 3x3 without the belt and knee sleeves with my sunny demeanour today. Had a lot of coffee too, but it didn't work. Will try next week's weights without them.

    Next week looks very daunting on paper.

    Managed to do one double where both reps were powered. The other two sets had one power and one squat because I didn't get enough rage into the bar!

    Power clean with pause at parallel and power jerk 3x2+2 at 80kg

    Zzz. 75 is a pb for doubles on the ps. Still felt like the pull was sluggish today. Not a bad sign.

    snatch high pull+muscle snatch: 50kg

    Clean and jerk:
    2+1 at 95, missed the jerk twice at 100, warmed back up, cleaned 100 again. Brain wouldn't play ball so aborted the session instead of getting pissed off and broken. Will try again tomorrow.

    Right,
    restarted the clean and jerk from yesterday,
    2 clean 1 jerk: 95, missed the jerk behind (first time ever) and kinda frolicked out of the way elegantly (exactly how it happened)

    Singles:
    95, 98, 98, 100, cleaned 104: missed jerk, spent a couple of seconds on the sticking point of the clean.

    front squat with a pause, 105kg:
    3-2-2

    **** it, that's a 3rm PB with or without pause.

    Polished the cannons to a level which is now concerning the UN, brah.

    That's hell week done, it wasn't too bad. Tapering next week, might need to ditch a kilo or two ahead of Sunday. I have a strange feeling, I think I might be excited.

    National Senior Championships:
    91/103 at 83.2kg
    competition PB on snatch and total. Just missed a 93 snatch, need a squat. tired, very happy though!

    just messed about today, couldn't snatch 85kg, squatted 120, front squatted 105, pause squatted 115, jerked 105, deadlifted 160 twice, missed 165, did some squat jerks and other messing about. Might train properly once this week then start a program next.

    right, messed around a bit, snatched 70 for a set of five, felt nice, then came back and did it for a set of ten.

    clean and jerked singles at 70-80-90-100(fail jerk)-100-100-102(fail clean)-102(fail jerk)

    trained friday. Think I tried to max some things.

    today:
    made an arse of the new program because I didn't see a comma.

    front squat with pause: 3x3x95kg
    power snatch: 3x2x69
    Front squat with pause: up to 105x1
    power snatch: up to 78, caught 80 below parallel twice

    chinz: up to +10kg for fives

    Started the next session because I was waiting around. Thought better of it after a minute.

    That was tiring enough. Jerk feels a little more consistent, still needs a lot of practice as I'm finding my feet with some of the changes.

    Went into Capital Strength for some light exercise. Very very nice.

    tried to do yesterday's session again to see if I magically became recovered.

    Jerked 100, back squatted 115 for 3 doubles.

    Eh, not recovered.

    Had a go of a car buffer. I feel all up to date and current now, brah.

    I think I attempted 6 sets but had 3 successful ones. had to take some caffeine to get the extra push. One of the misses was below parallel, one clarked and one was way out front.

    Power clean power jerk 3x2+1 at 93, these feel very good. Still not moving me feet, so it's a push jerk #Krozzfitz

    Front squat: up to 113x1, 3kg PB, the old one was the 29th of October 2011, missed 115. At least it's moving again, christ!
