Trying to buy two tickets, are they limited to one each or something?
    !

When I bought mine it automatically assigned me to 4 seats so I don't think you need to assign seats to extra people?

    Woohoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!

Shítty system though, was trying to get two tickets and the first was "assigned" to me (whatever the fcuk that means) but I had to assign the second to someone else. Had an old account I used before to purchase home tickets, so stuck that in and it worked.

Delighted I got them in the end. I can also now get back to real work. ;)

Cheers mate, it was a worry because of I didn't get it sorted I would have had to come up with a different idea for my dad's birthday gift :P.

Tried all over the place to get the current away top w/o that poxt Tennents logo, no joy. Anyone ever remove the logo? Can it be done without making a balls of the jersey?

Tried three Celtic stores in Glasgow and the Dublin store, as well as some sports shops. One chap told me they only make a v. limited number of sponsorless adult shirts, which is a bit **** really. Suppose it's part of the agreement with the sponsor.

I tried for ages to get the black away top without a sponsor as well but no joy and I eventually caved in and bought it with Tennents on it. No way to peel the sponsor off that I can see without destroying the jersey. I have removed logos on old jersey's before. The Carling ones were easy to take off with no damage at all. But the Tennents one's I don't think you can.

I'd say most of the fans would have loved the black one without a sponsor, not a chance one would be left on a shelf anywhere!

The new top is available with/without the sponsor online. They always sell out really quick.

Arsenal enquiring about Wanyama. The problems with sucess is trying to hold on to our better players.

Arsenal said they have money to burn this summer so I'm not too worried tbh.

Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley hopes to extend his stay at the club beyond the end of his contract next summer.
"It's a fantastic club and I like living here," said Ledley. "It's a great club and hopefully I can be here for many years to come.

"Hopefully we can qualify for the Champions League. I want to stay here."

Sign him up quick whilst everyone drools over Wanyama

I really hope we can get him signed up, great player & great attitude. No doubt a future captain of the club if he resigns.

I'm not sure why his value to the team is overlooked by some fans and the media.

His attitude is second to none, exactly the type of player you want the younger players to aspire to. Its amazing that his contribution to the club hasnt gathered more attention than it has. One thing he does lack is acceleration but there are very few situations where that is exploited, it hinders him more when he gets forward imo, he can find it hard to go past people with the ball. If he continues to add goals to his game like he has been doing, he'll become hot property despite that imo

Van Dijk has signed according to Groningen's website

Edit: Now on Celtic's website too

A right footed Mulgrew it seems

Yeah confirmed and signed on a 4 year deal, no mention of a fee in any reports I've seen, anyone seen anything quoted?

BBC are saying £2.6m and a 10% sell on clause.

Edit: What Dempsey said! Fee seems to be around £2 - 2.5 with a 10% sell on clause. Never seen him play but from what I've read he seems a good prospect.

You mean a utility type? We need a solid CF or two, Ambrose doesn't appear to be the answer as yet. He had another shocker v Uruguay last night, but to be fair to him he could do with a rest, it's good Nigeria wont be progressing.

Not in that sense but from what i seen, very little, a centre back that is comfortable on the ball.

What do people reckon on the supposed bid for wanyama? £12 million from Southampton could be accepted but I'd like to see him go to a top English side if he wasn't to stay with Celtic!

I think we can get at the very least 15 + add ons for him. There seems to be a few EPL sides interested, let them outbid each other. We could get 18+ for him, 12 wont be enough, so my sources tell me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,921 ✭✭✭RoryMac

I'd be happy with £12 plus addons if he was moving to Southampton or a similar club, a bit more if he goes to a bigger side as there's less chance of him moving on from there.

I think he has the potential to be a top player but won't be a massive loss to us as we're well covered in that area. If he does leave then re-signing Ledley becomes a priority as to lose him next year would leave us short

I'd hate to see him go. Our best player by a long way. Even if we have other players for midfield none are in his class. 12m represents a massive profit and is good business but still be sad to see him go.

Hate to see the volchures circling but its the way it is. The spine of the team could be gone by time August comes around, which wudn't be good.

Saying that i trust Neil to buy solid players with an upside and bring the team forward.

I wouldnt agree with that at all tbh. Most marketable is all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,921 ✭✭✭RoryMac

I wouldn't agree he's our best player either but I do think he has the potential to be a great player. I feel his talents are a little wasted in the SPL as he can control the game so well, doesn't get pressured into making mistakes. Qualities not needed in the SPL when teams tend to sit back and counter

As I said if he is going to Southampton I hope we have a good sell on clause because if he continues to improve he won't be there long

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,681 ✭✭✭ColeTrain

He is our best player by a distance imo and has the potential to go to the very top level.

There will be a huge void left in the midfield if he goes. His physical presence is a huge asset.
12million is very hard to turn down all the same but that's the SPL for you. You cannot expect to hang onto quality players for long in this league.

"Hopefully the club can sort Victor and Gary out and get them new deals. I know they are both happy at the club and I hope they can stay here for many years to come."

    Interesting comment from Ledley...

I wouldn't read too much into it tbh, I'd say it is more a statement that both have enjoyed their time here. If a decent offer comes in for either they'll most likely be gone
