    Just selling your fruit wont pay your loans off, at only 100 each selling all your fruit on day one will only get you around 7000 if that, and your first loan is for 38,000, go fishing and insect hunting or sell your fossils that is a better way to make your money, don't rely on your fruit, I left fruit on my trees for the visitors to have a tree each when they come, once you unlock the island you can make a fortune, I made over 800,000 in a few hours selling the fish and insects from there, also a little bit of info, pick the fruit and plants from the island games, that way you get more fruit for your own town, and plants to plant, instead of waiting for Lief to appear in your town.

    Exactly my thoughts a day ago! Katie is a lost cat looking for her mother or something...my friend asked me to open my gates so she could bring katie to my town (in search of the mother i presume?) so did so. I have no idea where katie went since or whether I'm supposed to bring her somewhere else now or...:confused:

    Katie is a cat that shows up in your town and gives you a unique gift when you bring her to another town. She can then move from that town to another, I think.

    ^ This. In the older games, she was the little lost cat that you had to reunite with her mum. In this one, she's still young, but is deliberately travelling. Someone can bring her to your town, and she'll show up a day or two later asking you to bring her on to another town! She wants me to bring her to another town so I'm hoping someone has their gates open later!

    My game is officially broken, I've contacted Nintendo to see what's up with it, haven't heard back yet though :\

    I can see other people's towns as being open but can't join them nor can anyone join my open town without getting the error code 018-0512. However I can play online in Club Tortimer without any issues, not to mention every single other online game or feature for 3DS.

    Sad times :(

    Thanks for having me over and all the free stuff, nabbed some new fishies too. Sorry I didn't have more cherries and oranges, my first crop was pretty meager but the next one is due tomorrow...

    Katie was brought to my town, but I am afraid to say she will now have to live here in my town forever as I cannot leave my town due to the error that most players are getting when they try and leave....

    I sold my turnips on Monday, brought them for 100 bells sold them for 140, price today?? 67 bells. I think I made the right choice.

    Have you tried manually entering your connection details, SSID, Password, type of password, IP address, sub address, gateway, DNS etc? And maybe setup a DMZ for your 3DS? It's the official troubleshooting response from Nintendo. Well that and the obvious one of turning off your router for 30 seconds and plugging it back in :P

    Try them all, didn't work for me though but maybe there's just something seriously messed up with my family home's connection. I'm in my aprtment now so hopefully I can connect through that tonight :D





    Edit: to everyone who's trying to make big bells on the stalk market, there are only 5 different trends in the market. You can look them up online if you're interested but it just makes it easier to gauge when to sell i/e. if the market will decrease through out the week or if it'll spike greatly midweek or if it's just a random market price daily (which is the one you really don't want, well apart from the continuously decreasing price week obviously:P)
