I'm worried about my mental health*. I watched the E3 gameplay reveal of Destiny this morning..........AND I LIKED IT!

What's going on? Why do I like an FPS? WHY? WHYYYYYY?

Someone's already uploaded the final battle of Man of Steel to youtube!

That is exactly what I was thinking!
My better half was with me and with the big showdown looming she said, "this is going to be the two of them hammering the sh1t out of each other for the next 12 minutes", and she was right!

I just want to know how super###* was able to shave his beard?
Thought it was a terrible boring loud film that could of done without the heavy laying on of Superman's messianic traits.
And daddy Kent was a bit of a c*#t, 'should I have let them die dad?'
'Probably, yeah. Your more important than them Clarke.'
With daddy Kent's influences and his apparent total isolation in childhood, how is it that he just didn't just side with Zod?
Also how did he break your mana neck when he couldn't even give him a bust lip?
Also surely if two superdudes who have similiar powers shouldn't be able to busy each other around like they did on earth. Shouldn't it been more like the fight between Russell Crowe and Zod on that Star Wars planet.
The last ghost rider was more enjoyable.

Oh, it wasn't that bad, the battle at the end was a bit "kinetic" but I enjoyed the rest of it.
Great cast, Shannon was suitably menacing and Amy Adams was good too.
Fishbourne never really got much to work with but the bits he did get were impressive.
It just lacked that certain spectacle that the original had, plus you can see the end battle in at least a half dozen films a summer, the first one was without equal, until the sequel came out anyway!

anyone know why Pyongyang closed his account?

I am guessing that his non retro items for sale caused a bit of an issue and rather than remove them, he decided to press the big red button and launch at South Korea close his account.

So I'm in the mood for a bit of jrpg action, what are peoples opinions on Shining Force The Sword of Hajya? Is it worth its €3.99 price tag on the Eshop?

Zero interest in a Superman reboot, zero interest in a Superman anything really. its been oft pointed out but if he is so phequing perfect where is the excitement? He is always going to win! Oh and Superman Returns was utter pants as well!

He's gotten his arse kicked many times, and has even been killed, but he always comes back......just like every other comic-book character, really.

I admire anyone who sits and tries to write a Superman reboot, though. It ain't exactly easy-material to write into a relatable character. You can get a good writer who'd dress him up as something halfway empathetic, and then boom! some other one moves in and cheaps out on a story by writing a 'HE SURVIVED BECAUSE OF SUPER-ALIEN POWERS' ending.

I am curious about this latest attempt, but I'd barely trust Zack Synder to direct a.......something that's very easy to direct.

As you said, the action scenes were a bit generic and uninspiring. It lacked the charm and fun of the originals and Superman as a character is boring. He isn't as interesting as batman or most other heroes and to focus the movie on just Supes was a poor decision, as the Clarke Kent persona and the juxtaposition with Superman is the key.
Also, did we really need to see his origins story again? Give us a new story! I suppose that's an issue with all comic book adaptions at this stage, Spider-Man being the posterboy of this dilemma, with two origin centric movies within a short span of years. These origins can be made interesting though, look at First Class and Batman Begins, this can't be said for Man of Steel. Totally uninspiring and lacking any originality.
Bring on Wolverines adventures in the land of the rising sun.

It always comes down to the super alien powers in the end.

It's a very simplistic SRPG but fun. I prefer the megadrive games and the Sega CD remake of sword of hajya.

If you get an XBox One don't go moving country, even into one of the 21 countries supported. MS, making region locking even worse.

I have the PAL version, names Lifeforce, doesn't look as cool, isn't names as cool but, when played via an adaptor on my Fami, it is the same game, and brilliant!
    Prefer Gradius II though.

Whats the consensus on this ltd print run of New Super Luigi Bro's for the Wii U? Has it the potential to be a future collectible? It's gonna be dearer than the digital download version, meaning it prob won't sell as good as the digital one will...

I'm not sure, it said a limited run during the Nintendo Direct. So maybe that means a limited run, or maybe it means it'll be in bargain bins for the next twenty years...I dunno, I think it's worth chancing it though. Ninty games really don't ever depreciate, & if this truly is a low selling limited run, then maybe it could be a future collectible?

I know I'll be buying it, looks great, and my confidence in DLC has been weakened somewhat, at least I will always own a physical copy of a given game, not just a licence to use it.

most Mario games seem to hold their value well, so worth a gamble imo, sure it's only £26.99 (approx €33) on Amazon.
