Pancake will take part if it's a crawling-with-some-pauses-to-eat-what-he-finds-on-the-ground race. He can't even walk yet!

Oh god, reading this thread today just gave me flashbacks of sports-day horror in school.

I was NOT athletic. At ALL.

Mind you, I do maintain that I was very good at the 3-legged-race, but my partner was not. :pac:

Me neither. But it didn't stop me from feeling robbed when I won no medals!

It's kinda like the feeling of disappointment I get when I don't win the lotto, and i don't play it!

My aunt bought me a graduation present of a sleepover here. :D

I got the best news ever earlier and I've been on a cloud of happiness ever since. :D Delighted, excited and proud of myself, no better way to feel :D Things look so great at the moment, I really hope nothing comes along to ruin it!

If we do sports day, can we have a backwards race? I think I run faster backwards than forwards :p

Ooooh! Swish! Hope she got it for two...

I love the sofas in the lecture room (or is that the in-house cinema?)...

I was ok, but the others were bigger and ran faster.

Then finally I won a race in 6th class, but they converted it all to "team group points" and people who actually won races didn't get medals, and people who didn't bother their backsides taking part, did.

People are telling me today I look fit and look well. I haven't done any exercise in a week or two and have been eating a lot of chocolate, so I don't really know how that works. I blame today's top, it's a very pretty top

I feel old. Went out to a gig last night for the first time in months given my foot surgery... but also given that Im an old lady.. anyways, even though it was a school night I got on the gladrags and stuck on an extra layer of mascara... wasnt even out that late (um maybe 12:30?) and IM SHATTERED. How did I do it? Thankfully Ive no kids to see today so can hide in the office with coffee and trying to wipe the club stamp off my hand...OLD!
I know that feeling! I went to a gig with my brother a while back and we were just like “Why are all the guys wearing those silly hats?” and “What have all those girls done to their eyebrows?” …OLD!

They did this in my primary school, it was called the sdrawkcab race. It’s hard to run backwards in a straight line though!

Any ideas of an out of the house first birthday party for coffee. It's not for 8 weeks but I don't want it in the house incase the ohs brothers and friends take is as an excuse for a session.

    Pet farm?

Oreo might be a worthy opponent to race Pancake. Though there better be plenty of dirt to try to eat along the way. Or insects. Insects will be given consideration too.

WinterSong - Delighted for ya! :D Wooooopppp!!!!

If I could leave a trail of bovril toast and skips around the course, coffee would win it all! Again, crawling.

Adults v Babies crawling race - think they'd win hands down though...

Well done WS! That's a pretty big deal, fair play to you :)

My Illamasqua foundation arrived today, I can't wait to try it out. And Mum's hormones are the right way up today so she's taking my sister and I to see The Great Gatsby tonight, so I'm not complaining :D

Also, I had a really nommy salad for lunch; tuna, mayo, lettuce, radish, cucumber and scallion. Yummy in my tummy.
