Is there anything as annoying as a cat in heat? If Tom gets his way, he'll leave her in a flood!

I am getting the same again a 3 tonne that will fit onto the bogey that I have. Dealer looked about an hour ago quoted 5k to change but that's his opening price.
This would work out at €100/month for 5 years. The repair estimate is €1200 there is no way I would spend this on an 8 year old machine

Have a 2 ton zam 21 seasons old doing 150t/yr calved also back in march botched it up for 500 to buy time and get going in a hurry but its day is done.
Fab spreader set of fins every second year and only for 24m tramlines they would do 3 years.
Find it hard to pass amazon only the next time will deff try and streach to weigh cells. Is there any electrics on that one he quoted for?

With no cells but with headland deflector. We change fins twice a season, only in the last 4 years fert seems to have changed

A contribution from CAP for future fodder crises!! No way. It would end up like the national pension reserve, in the coffers of this shower to bail out the banks.

He is just jealous that we have land and he was foiled in his bid to takeover Gorse Hill from his neighbour.

I wouldn't mind too much, I am used to it, I am hated in both coats as I am a public servant and a farmer. Even some on here will hate me for my other coat and some in work hate me for my farm coat. Hence I have a hide like a rhino.

He is not anti farmer as a rule, IMO.

But you know, 80% of small businesses in this country, are in a squeeze since the crisis began four / five years ago.
Fuk all help they get from anybody, only more and more policies from government to choke them off completely.

Farmers think they are different though. They are the special ones. Should get help.

    FFS!

    I'm a farmer.

The professor bladdering on about climate change was contradicting himself. He reckons farmers should have looked into their crystal balls to know this weather was coming and reduced stocking rates accordingly  Then he starts moaning about the single payment being put into a fund to help farmers in need.

Other business dont have stock that needs to eat.

    That they feel compasion for.

They dont live on there own with them and stay awake at night worrying about feeding them.

Would take very little effort to solve this if will was there to do it.

Wondering did that farmer put cows in his wettest paddock or is land in that area really that wet?

If it is they are in serious bother. He had well conditioned cows but completely unsuitable for the land he has. I thought he came across well though. Dev is some ass though!!

I got the head took off me about CAP in a local shop early this year. Why should I get subs when he (the shopkeeper) gets nothing? I don't usually mind being asked, but the vitriol with this was full on. I bit my tongue and kept my thoughts to myself, but I haven't spent a bob in there since.

It was as if I had all the power and decided to pay myself from Europe.
