I think they're second hand (came out of cabs) so it didn't have the original packaging. Still, he could have put it in a box :(

On the plus side, it still functions okay. The split on the top of the rail is kind of negated by the screws holding it in place on the board thankfully :)

I hope your feedback reflects the poor packaging, overcharged postage, & condition of item on arrival :)

More Wii goodness today as Kororinpa and it's sequel, the slightly less imaginatively titled, Marble Balance Challenge arrived on my work desk.
Got a good price on them too.

So, nearly there in terms of Wii purchases.

I don't suppose any of you lads have a copy of Mario Kart 64 that you'd be willing to part with?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,278 ✭✭✭MrVestek

Never mind... I asked Retropolis on Facebook and got an answer straight away. Imagine that... somebody who can actually check their own stock AND get back to you with a price!

Surely that's impossible due to the constant price fluctuations with this stuff?

Heh... I'm seriously loving Retropolis you know... half of the stuff he has sells for more reasonable prices than you find on the likes of fleabay.

It's ok Retr0, there's one CIB for €15 in Retropolis. He definately needs to do more with his Adverts shop but it's a good start!

Hoping to get into retropolis tomorrow, sounds good!

I keep seeing Kororinpa in Gamestop, but only saw it online for about the same price. Didn't actually check videos but thought Kororinpa looks like Animal Kororo (both have the same looking characters) but it's more like Cameltry I guess, still want it.

Chap on Racketboy once received a box where the seller'd used balloons for padding.

Much worse when you get something with no padding at all.
Like a PS or DC game, the game cases made of the most brittle plastic known to man, wrapped in a single layer of envelope.
    And the shattered resultant mess.
    Deary Deary me....

I think I have a couple but only the one boxed one, I might even have a sundried special that I bought from a traveller that you would be welcome to.

DC cases are the worst, they are feet magnets too. Even the Saturn boxes lasted better. I bought a Saturn on adverts some years back, possibly out bid someone here who still holds it against me. Wrapped and bound in brown tape destroyed two games, the box off the steering wheel and my friendship with my friend from tallaght who picked it up from the seller in tallaght for me.
I don't buy anything on the Southside now, that finished it for me.

I'm surprised it took that, but didn't you know that about Southsiders?
If they sold it to each other it'd be wrapped in €100 notes, but sending it north of the liffey, they imagine any old crap will do, canape eating, Beemer driving lousers!!!!

    ;)

    See!

    Rugger Bugger loving shower....
As opposed to the assocation footy/bog ball lovers over here.....

Me, I try to rise above it, I'm not a Northsider or a Southsider, I'm a European Federalist and an anti-theist .... not a most popular position to take tbh, and not something one can slip into conversation easily.... I know, I've tried....
