Yesterday was a sad day and even sadder as it went unreported in all massedia outlets, that I had completed all the games I want for the gamecube collection with the latest additions.
    Fire Emblem
    Skies if Arcadia
    Baten Kaitos
    All gleaned from adverts yesterday.

Nearly got Dracula X and Ogre Battle along with all ninja Gaiden titles on the nes but the seller developed sellers remorse and back tracked on those. Gah!

All this Sunset Riders talk. Love Sunset Riders I do. Arcade and consoles.

Have it for SNES (PAL) and Genesis (US NTSC). One had to go to a) make room and b) make money for more retro goodies.

Sega port lost out easy enough.

Damn, thought I had all the Wii games I wanted, or close to, now I want Kororinpa and it's sequel! Feck!
There's the former on Adverts for a tenner posted, but the second one is slightly harder to source, anyone spotted it in the wild, for normal money?
There's another chap flogging it on Adverts but I don't want to spend €25 on it, posted, or perhaps I'm being miserable?

Hold on, took a chance and made an offer...... the wait for another roll a ball around a maze game begins..... exciting times indeed, far better than some big console reveal this evening.... I wonder what it was?

Great game, downloaded it off ps network last year and really enjoyed it.

There's feck all enemies on screen, tonnes of slow down and no 4 player madness. The worst crime is that the girls in the taverns are modestly clad. It seems very boring to me in comparison.

There's no slow down what so ever. It's a excellent port of an excellent game and my most played co-op game with smk and sf2t. Stop hating on sunset riders yo, the game has great music difficulty and charm and a much better game than that overrated contra 3 :p Arcade ports will always be superior

All this reminds me that I have Muramasa for the Wii on my shelf completely unplayed for at least 18 months. My pile of shame is at criminal levels at this stage.

Nice! Haven't listened to that yet. I did really enjoy the tv ad for it, they really managed to capture a 70s sci fi vibe.

Best thing they've ever recorded is the Tron soundtrack, it gives me shivers listening to it. Incredible pieces of music.

    :)

Nu uh, first album is their best work, one of those blown away moments in musical history personally

If I give the first album a listen I usually have to follow it up with Jilted Generation

You can't beat a decent cube collection, I'm still on the lookout for Fire Emblem at the right price:(

I'm not really a big Daft Punk fan at all to be honest. (wouldn't be into their original stuff that much)

The Tron soundtrack is in a league of it's own for me. It doesn't sound like a Daft Punk album, just an amazing soundtrack score. Only down side to it is how short some of the songs are! :( (I guess that's what the repeat button is for :D)

First album definitely worth a listen oisin, i'm a metalhead myself but theres something about that album the same as jilted generation, ya can't help but get immersed in them!

It also may have to do with what you're smoking at the time tho...

Mine, sadly, is a French pal version. Still English in game though, I hope. Cube is possible my favourite console but then maybe the snes or Saturn is :pac:

Love a bit of Daft Punk myself and always liked the videos for the discovery album. Tron soundtrack is excellent all right o1s1n.

Will give it a proper listen again so! :) Have to say, I am a bit partial to The Prodigy's early stuff too. Wouldn't be my usual cup of tea but there's something about it alright!

It's probably the last gc game I need to have everything that I would like to have, I'm glad to be honest as it's getting more expensive collecting PAL games. If I was starting now I would probably go US gc stuff, far more reasonably priced.

The price of Fire Emblem has rocketed for sure and gc games are on the up and I'm glad it's done as well because of this. It has been the one collection I kept some active focus on, others go through highs and lows. I actually got every single one of mine through adverts, I suppose it helps that it's fairly newish and there's a lot still knocking around.
The jntsc have excellent looking covers though....

Not all through adverts, had about 20 from buying from new

I don't bother what region my games come from. I've a mix of NTSC and PAL games for the GC. I'm certainly not paying the price some PAL games go for. Luckily I kept on top of my GC buying when I had the console and pretty much bought every game worth owning on the thing.

Got me another two converted PGM carts :

All artwork courtesy of my paint copy/paste skilz :pac:

It's getting a nice collection of shooters on Cart, they make use of the high score save option on the mobo as a bonus .
