MCR, surely it shows the exact opposite? You wanted to move around your working hours so you could actually do MORE work! It's not like you asked to get off early cos you fancied a Friday afternoon wandering around the shops!

Sorry, meant to reply earlier but was still in work. I think I'm just a little all over the place lately and I know that I'm not at the top of my game so this just felt like I'd broken the last straw you know?

PR, sorry for lonelifying, I killed it for a while I think...

MCR I know what you mean, but take it from us that it's your boss's problem, not yours. :)

But you must be too busy thinking about how you're gonna spend all your money now that you're a rich doctor to have time for us ordinary patients...

I think I have possibly eaten my body weight (which is a fair bit) in sugar over the last two weeks. I do not feel good. Damn you, exams....and lack of will power.

All I want now is a raw carrot.

That does sound like the kind of thing I would do.

    I am ruthless and spendthrifty.

    I. Hate. This. Module. So. Much. Corporate Financing means jack shit to me at this stage.

And I can hear the crowd from the Leinster match from here!

I spent a fortune on fruit and veg today. Detox begins tomorrow.

On a totally unrelated note, I wish the chinese delivery man would hurry up...

What module is it? Is it a finance one or a law-finance one?

It's Company Law, but parts of the module are awfully technical. In my friend's words: 'If I'd wanted to study accounting, I'd have done fucking Commerce' :pac:

It's not accounting as such, just a lot of rules about keeping accounts and whatnot.

Hahaha! Finance is nice though. Sometimes!

Alarm set for my last 6am start for the foreseeable future.

I'm so excited but also kinda scared, end of college means start of real life and moving and starting my job. I'm not ready for that sort of responsibility yet :pac:

Can't wait for the relief :)

oh i'm so glad I stopped for lucosade before I left Dublin. 5 hours sleep in 48 hours does not an alert driver make. I got a mad sugar buzz going and listened to the match on the radio though. I just sat down beside himself and the tiredness hit me like a brick wall. The strength it took to get up and switch off my alarms for tomorrow. I actually couldn't give two fcuks aboht the exams next week at this stage! Lie in FTW.

I'm in my happy place with Fraudulent and Reckless Trading. The Leinster match was the soundtrack to my evening of cramming.
I was panicking at the amount of material to cover, until I realised that James' stuff appears to overlap with Brian's. Win!

I am going to write things in this exam. (Last semester that involved skimming through the acts to find possible answers to write.) Then I am going to not care. For months. Mwahahahaha!

I just found the drums really distracting, I kept bopping away at my desk!

Yeah it's grand, they both cover corporate financing on BB, and James basically did two lectures on F&R Trading. I'm just trying to get my head around charges then I'll worry about the rest tomorrow. Best of luck with it! I hope your knowledge rubs off on me some how!

Haha, I've only written the notes so far! Cramming it all into my brain is a job for the morning..

I'm trying to do a pithy dialogue as I go, in the hopes that I'll remember things. Like "Aluminium Fabricators Ltd - that's not all they fabricated! Ho Ho!"

    I am so lame.:o

Your boss was an ass. If they don't understand that you could do with earning more money and having a job right through the summer then they don't deserve special attention. A simple change on their behalf could have made a big difference to you. They weren't willing to make a simple change and even worse they weren't willing to explain the business reason why they couldn't accommodate you. I know I treat my boss and my business with respect, they should do the same back. Don't feel bad about an asshole.

Could he pick up tortilla chips and deliver them pronto? There are some in the kitchen here but I can't drive to replace them. Sure I'll eat anything but if there's prawn crackers going get me two bags and some for yourself as well. The €2 prawn crackers are my treat.
