Joe needs to ask his friend Derek Mooney to give this lad a little slot on his radio programme, at least it would give us all a break from Louis Walsh, Mary Byrne, the Eurovision and Jedward.

    Volunteer at the a-zoo.

    The Tayto Zoo.

Good man Joe - that'll help the poor lad alright.

I'm beggining to think she is more of an emotional wreck than her son.

How many people would tolerate living in a house full of snakes and alligators simply because their adult son has a fondness for reptiles?

It sounds like she should have sat him down a good few years ago to lay down the law.

This has turned into a thinly veiled "get my son a job" call.

I think you might have hit the nail on the head there.

David Attenborough should be retiring shortly. Could be an opening there!

You have hit the nail on the head there. She obviously overindulged her son all along.

I'm just waiting for somebody to come on the line telling Carmel to get her son to take up running.

Jesus Christ the guy obviously has mental health issues. Get the professionals to treat him and stop having his story shouted out over the national airwaves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,382 ✭✭✭gjc

Jesus the last thing that Carmel wants is a bloody tiger in the bedroom!!

If I went to Tayto Park and was met at the entrance by a grinning snake I'd never look at a packet of crisps again.

Joe turns it around to asking about a leaving cert and becoming a vet. Just what the callers son needs, to e told to go back to school and put himself under a pile of pressure to get the points required to be a vet.

Im interested in reptiles too, but having 70 in your bedroom is not having an interest, its having an obsession. Feeding, cleaning and stopping them from eating each other would be a full time job.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,730 ✭✭✭europa11

    Joe - "he''ll be a vet"

caller: "Not at first Joe"...i.e.: He'll be cleaning out the elephant's shed

This is fierce boring. Time for a different topic of discussion.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Joe clearly doesn't know how to handle this type of call at all. How he's been allowed to give input when he hasn't a fúcking clue for nearly 25 minutes is appalling.

How would you sleep with that lot in your bedroom?
