Was trying to get wifi working on my Triplex last night and while moving the unit to peak the signal it fell off the shelf .
It landed on the ground with a usb drive in the back and now the rear usb wont work anymore .
It looks fine but must have shorted or something ,I may have to do some diy .

That is just plain bad luck!

I am experiencing drop outs and freezing on my Amiko Alien 2 with HDMU rev 10780. Also while using live pause it locks up altogether (not good when the wife is watching her soaps). I am using a Samsung M3 1TB USB. I have read a few forums on this subject and was wondering has any else found this same issue considering going with AR-P image. it freezes on all channels not just oscams.

HI new to this.... Flashed enigma2 using sattvhelp_stm24_0211_beta_1.00.rar and also HDMU_10847_E2_spark7162_211_git_5410_nodebug_Diff0 _gst_Flash.rar . both of them said success but are stuck on Boot. I used the correct sorftware on the box (down graded) Any suggestions what next?

Would it not say banned under his name if that was the case? Closed account would imply he closed it himself I think.

So when flashing via the Spark e2plugin, does it confirm that the image has been successfully flashed ?

When will there be a proper release of enigma 2 for the amiko? Will it ever happen? Are the versions of enigma 2 for broadcom boxes full releases?

Are you able to boot into Spark at all or is it getting stuck on boot? As for flashing HDMU I'd recommend 10780, it seems to be the most stable at the moment and I'm not encountering any issues on it.

    EDIT: Just re-read your post, I see it's the E2 images that are stuck on boot. Try flashing the following HDMU;

    HDMU_10780_E2_spark7162_211_git_5385_nodebug_Diff0_gst_Flash.rar

    I can boot in spark.

When it tries to boot in Enigma. I see "Enigma" on the display and then it goes into boot forever..............................

The problem with the Amiko receivers is that most of the code has to be ported over from Broadcom receivers to support the STI chipset. Its patched code.

There is no such thing as a "full" release for almost any Enigma 2 receiver as most of the images are developed by volunteer coders. The more popular the box generally the better the Enigma 2 images .
That is the main reason that Dreamboxes are so slick ,as they have a huge user base.

I am still using a Dm800 as my main tv receiver as the HDMU image on the Triplex is still too temperamental to switch over to .

Is there any way to turn off NAR on the mpeg audio stream other than switching to AC3?

How are you connecting your box to the internet Brian, wired/wireless, homeplugs, WIFI bridge? Also, try flashing the same image a second time, this seems to resolve issues for a lot of us.

Open-AR Project, it's an Enigma2 image, an alternative to HDMU

I am using a home plug I think( plugs into the wifi hub and then into the socket beside the box) I can connect to the internet with spark. And also have filezilla installed on my mac and can connect with spark loaded.

Flashed the same HDMU image a few times still no joy. Will try Open ar

What exactly is the error you're seeing on the Network page in the setup menu? Have you tried the Restart Network option?
