I'm trying my best but it's so slow or something, I dunno, I'm finding it hard to click with :(

Ya it's slow alright season two picked up 3 dropped 4leveled . But it might not be for you but stick it out the 40minutes might seem like 2 hours but its not that bad

I was addicted from episode 1...however, I finished season 4 there a few months back and have found myself not at all bothered about going back to it. I will finish it though I imagine, though I have no love for El Heisenberg anymore!!

As in I just started the fifth episode there, thought it must be half way done, no ten minutes in :P

So I'm going to Billy Connolly's show in Limerick tonight. And I've just been reading up on this "incident" (if you could even call it that) in Killarney. (link)

Am I the only that doesn't get the furoré?

I mean sure, it was a bit mean, but calls for boycotts in the Dáil? Really Michael Healy Rae? Really?

My favourite headline was this though:
Billy Connolly's Irish shows sell out despite foul-mouthed tirade that reduced photographer to tears
    (Source)

which completely ignores the fact that the shows have (or at least the Limerick show has) been sold out for weeks/months. :P

Sure what else would you expect at a Billy Connolly show? And sure she was sitting there on the middle of the steps just snapping away, wouldn't have a whole lot of sympathy for her, even though he should have been a lot less crass about it. And 90% of what Healy Rae comes out with can be disregarded, he's all about the local vote.

And in fairness to the Healy Rae family, they always do say what the country Kerry people want to hear!

I'd say he'd say anything to keep Kerry on his side, evidence :pac:
Edit: Oops wrong Healy Rae! Same difference...
Edit arís: Knew it was somewhere

I know more about the Healy Rae's than I ever need to know- Good ol' Kerry's Eye and Kerryman. They're where the real stories happen :P

I absolutely love how I now relate Radio Gaga with GTA!

by the looks of the trailers the soundtrack is actually gonna be good.
that was my biggest letdown for four. the soundtrack was shocking and the way it was implemented was awful to. everytime i switched to tuff gong badder den dem was playing. the radio stations didn't play through when you werent listening. always the same song on every station.

I dont know why i let my heart bleed for this country and the monkeys that run it.

It always kills me when i see other nations thriving and then i drive around Dublin and see all these prime locations of plans ready for development that will never come. it also amazes me still in recession how greedy Bodies(Companies) are. They have money coming in. but are somehow broke to develop and progress to greatness.

Im going to sit here and wade in sorrow wondering how one person can still go wrong while they should be learning to not be dependent on others

Theres not enough hours in the day.

Any of ye watch How to Cheat in the Leaving Certificate when ye were doing the LC?

Failure in your Leaving Certificate, means failure for the rest of your lives..... :pac: Yes

I first discovered that film the night before I got my results. Since then, I've made a tradition of watching it on the night before LC results are out every year.

I don't really know why I do that...

It's an alright film though IMO.

When should one leave C&H ?

I'm having another one of those usual debates people have about life and growing up and sh t . Like since coming here some time around 09 I've seen lot of people come and go old faces reappear. Many boardies finding new homes amoungst our city of threads. And seems a new wave of LCers are moving into the neighbourhood. I guess one can only stay young for so long before my cool generation grows up. C&H is certainly a virtual home for me. But I need to branch out into other hoods and something is stopping me.

    :P

In seriousness though, IMO as long as you still enjoy posting in a forum then you never have to leave. If it gets to a stage where you don't like or identify with any of the regulars, then it's time to go. Otherwise:

    ♫ We'll all stay young forevvvverrrrr! ♫

It's like the 4chan of boards :pac:

One of those doors leads to the corridor characterless-corridors.jpg

The other leads to AH third-thursday-banner.jpg

Although i picture it more like this :pac:

The other one leads to your new home

After two months of living of currys and stir frys i'm making an attempt at my first "mammy" dinner. roasties and a chicken in the oven. i feel so grown up.

EDIT: Success! My roasties came out crispy and brown. My attempt at being fsncy with the chicken by making a curry/chilli powder butter marinade worked and it turned out lovely and my carrots were just the right blend of crunchy/soft.

mammy ain't got nothing on me!
