Tyler Wilson to the Raiders. If I was an Oakland fan I'd be pretty happy with that move. He can spend the next year or two behind Matt Flynn and then they can make a decision on his prospects but when he had Bobby Petrino as his coach the Razorbacks backs were superb and he had the look of being an absolute stud

Excellent pick up. He has physical tools that Matt Flynn could only dream of.

    Why is patton still there?

No idea. The guy is a 2nd round talent.

Interesting to see Giants moving up to grab Nassib. What did we give the Cards to move up?

Just thinking about the Patriots doubling down on Dobson and Boyce (wide receivers). They've doubled on two positions before: Ridley and Vereen at running back and Gronkowski and Hernandez at tight end. The latter two groups have worked out really brilliantly. I'm hoping the same here in 2013. If I were Dobson or Boyce, I'd be on the first flight to California to workout with Brady. Trust is absolutely paramount with Brady and the sooner the WRs attain that, production will flow immediately.

    That's fair. We still have a 5th and 2 7ths left.

Packers have gone from very weak at RB to getting arguably the top 2 RB's in the draft. Franklin in particular is an unreal value pick.

Lattimore to the Niners, absolutely delighted for him!

Although 49ers are drafting some of my favourite players, Lattimore and Tank :(

Patton is a great pick for the Niners.

Great spot for Lattimore to land. No pressure to get him on the field. Could see them stashing him away on he practise squad for the year.

Good choice he s under no pressure to plus for another 2/3 years

Lattimore is slightly surprising. We now have 4 running backs. (Gore, Hunter, James and Lattimore)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭Stev_o

Lattimore looks awfully small frame wise, doesn't look like a RB

Cheifs take Sanders Commings with the 1st pick of the 5th. Damn, hoped the Jags would take him.

Great to see him get into a perfect situation after all that he has been through. He goes to a team with an established workhorse back and go to a team without the pressure of having to be fit to start and produce this season. He can instead focus on rehabbing and learning the offence

Denard Robinson??? I'm excited, but ANOTHER WR?? Tha ****?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,317 ✭✭✭HigginsJ

What did the Eagles give the Jags to trade up for Barkley. Jags going with Gabbert/Henne again so yea

Word is that around campus, and off campus for that matter, Patton could not possibly have held a higher opinion of himself. Might explain his drop, teams don't want another Titus Young.

he was announced as a rb, hard to know where he will play

Just a 7th rounder I think. And it looks that way, Caldwell said there would an addition to the QB competition, but it's looking less and less likely. Zac Dysert and Matt Scott the only realistic shouts in this draft.

Had to be Seattle getting Williams, that's a scary front very very scary

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭Stev_o

Can we ban the 49ers and Seahawks from drafting now?

    Jesus.

Jesse Williams and Tharold Simon back to back for the Seahawks....in the 5th round! That's terrific.

My Giants take Ryan Nassib. The 2nd Orange player we have taken this year

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,929 ✭✭✭JaMarcus Hustle

Shocked at some of the players still available. Poyer, Rambo, Wilson, Swope, Hamilton, Rogers... Even expected Bray and Dysert to be gone by now.

Very curious draft in terms of the talent of some players taken a lot later than you imagined they would go.

Ravens take Ricky Wagner, offensive tackle from Wisconsin

I know nothing about him except Wisconsin have a reputation for great linemen! Heres hoping
