    Quicker maybe, but if anything this whole incident proves its neither better or more reliable, nowhere near and it never will be. Thousands of false reports, faked pictures, videos etc. the sheer volume just means that there are factual ones in there the odd time. Mainstream media trying to keep up with social media speed have been caught out with 100s of false reports also.

    This example of a police radio steam isn't an example of social media accuracy, it's a steam of a police radio FFS of course it's more accurate.
