    Doubt it. Most of the gung ho trigger happy cops we hear about are local sherrifs deputies without proper training. The guys involved in Boston now are pretty much all SWAT, Feds and other highly trained units drafted in for thr job. The local beat cops are just diverting traffic and keeping people away from the place

    Well if you were in the situation where your aiming at a guy who might possibly have his hand on a detonator, your not going to hesitate at taking him out.Im sure it would be in their interest to take him alive but if he does have an explosive device and is a danger to the surrounding public than they will kill on site.

    I hope he is taken alive... WHY he did this has to be explored.

    It makes little sense for a Chechen to attack the US.

    The record of Chechen attacks on the Russians including the Beslan School Massacre and the Moscow Theater massacre makes very depressing reading.
