I spent ages looking for some of the gillette ones.

 Didn't you just use the "Search this thread" tab at the top of the page?? Saves a lot of time trailing through long threads.

Aww, my heart bleeds for you. Maybe if you kept yourself up to date with the thread the same as the rest of us you wouldnt be wasting lots of your precious times searching for freebies.

Oh, you do know that you are derailing the thread with this display of selfishness. Take it up with the forum mods and lets get back to posting freebies.

Jaysis.. I wasn't complaining. I was offering a suggestion. Tried keeping up to date, but then work gets in the way, along with other activities. Saw people thanking about an offer i had missed and couldn't find it.

At least i was being constructive.

I did, but so many people had mentioned it in thanks or other posts i found it difficult, that's all. I wasn't really all that concerned, just offering a suggestion. Also could help lessen the amount of duplicate offers.
NO!! I think one of my first cranky posts on Boards was about people using this thread just to get freebies and not contributing whatsoever.
What's to stop all the lurkers who never get involved or may be not even members getting in before us if the freebies are highlighted?
At least when there is discussion it keeps out the 'users'.
Admittedly I've not been posting much here myself in the last year or so but that's due to work stuff. At least I thank a post or let ye know if something arrives.

Fair enough. only noticed your post now. There would be lurkers anyway..

But at least it's a reason.

It's a good idea to add a short descriptive title when posting a new freebie. This allows them to be easily distinguished from general discussion posts

I think the blue link highlights the freebie easily. I never notice the title in a post.

It seems to me that some are getting a little agitated over the correct way, proper etiquette etc in writing thread posts. Might be no harm to remember that we're getting free stuff and free stuff should be fun!!! :P
