    Google Music just got a lot better. Google announces that Ireland can now purchase music via Google Music. Sweet. Accidentally noticed this last night before the announcement and purchased Alchemy. Sweet. purchases can be downloaded as MP3's and/or added to your Google Music Player for streaming.

    Did I say sweet?

    Can anyone explain what way Google Play Music works? Im in work and have most things blocked, except boards. Dzzzopes!

    Anyway, people are talking about syncing your own library? I currently use Tonido to stream all content from my mac (videos/music/documents). IS google play the equivalent, except for music only? Or is it a case of synching it up to a Google Play cloud?

    1. You sync your local music with Google Cloud [you used to upload all content. Now you just match]
    2. Next time you open Google Music on yer device, it asks if you want to play cloud or local.
    3. That's it. Music only

    The main difference between that and what you currently have is ... Do you have your music backed up?

    I found that Play Music has reset the number of files I have uploaded... twice...

    It was at 10k+, then dropped back to 4k, and on Monday or thereabouts, it reset itself and started again. Very odd!

    Thanks for that. Yup, I have all my music on my drive and external HDD as backup. Its streaming directly off the mac to my phone, so uploading from home, downloading when out and about. Ill have to try figure out play when I get home!

    To sync, you have to browse to music.google.com and download their mucis manager. Can't do it from android.

    Does match work for anyone? I uploaded about 3000 songs today on a very fast connection but I don't see why it won't match them instead.

    All my albums are named correctly and have album art.

    A lot of my album art is very low-quality and pixellated on google play for some reason. Anyone else similar? Seems like it'd be awkward to fix.

    When it was uploading and not matching [when they first released the service] it took me about two weeks to get it all done. Are you sure it was uploading the entire collection of songs. It does have to upload a bit of information per song [a hash ish], so you will see a bit of bandwidth in use.

    Well I was plugged into the Ethernet in my college getting upwards of 8-9Mb/s upload and I had it running for about 4 hours.

    I couldn't say 100% what it was doing though, the music manager gives very little info.

    Bought MSecure couple of years back for 10c, normally a couple of euro I think. Good password app, but not sure its really any better than the free one suggested.

    The Simpsons Tapped Out android update and now you can add friends and visit friends gardens. The problem is I don't know anyone who plays it and was hoping someone here would like to a friend on it! If so please PM me your email (or your user id on it - added text) that your registered with on the game. Thanks!

    It use origin for your account so i think you may be able to visit friends on apple version!

    Super beam is an absolute must for everyone. It sets up wifi direct connections between any android phones quickly and easily with a qr code. Basically it's like samsung s-beam for any phone. Was transferring files to my girlfriend's phone yesterday before taking a flight. Could send an episode of modern family in 25 seconds. Brilliant.

    On a seperate note - any people having problems with Swiftkey?

    I'm Meteor/S3/4.1.2/Swiftkey 4.0.1.128.

    It still works, but is significantly slower than the samsung keyboard. Also lags in Evernote. Do I have to go premium to get back to the old speed?

    It's a good app that I've used for a while but if its' not up to speed...

    What size was the file? AVI or MKV?

    That happened me before, so I downloaded a hacked APK that let you buy whatever you wanted and gave unlimited donuts. I bought everyone.

    Thanks for letting us know Corkie. I had it sideloaded so it didn't autoupdate. Downloaded 1mobile and that did the trick.

    I also didn't lose my town. It asked was the level 17 town on my device mine and I said yes and it was grand.

    It's made the game so much more interesting now for me.
