Cool, I'll take a look. Any keywords you can suggest to make it easier to search through the thread? I've read quite a few pages over the last week and haven't come across it.

I sent them an email just now and I'm hoping they can provide more details. I specifically asked for a human reply. It's probably a wasted effort but at this point, there's nothing to lose. But if my order was not cancelled, I'd probably say nothing to them in order to keep unwanted attention away.

The HTC One is a great phone but not at a great price. To be honest, I can't justify spending €500-600 on a phone and I don't want to get into a contract, either. There are much better things you could spend €500+ on, but that's me (hmmm...new PC parts...?). The Nexus 4 is superb for the price and I'm sure you'll get your hands on one very soon, one way or another. :)

Yeah, used my main account that I've had since 2005. Perhaps you're right, but I'll go with Flubit for now. If that doesn't work out and I decide to ask a friend or family member in the UK to do the honors, I'll use a sparkling new account then.

Now how the f*ck do I get my Play Store back to normal, it's still using the UK version even though I'm on it now with my regular Irish IP?! In-fact, it has been like that ever since the first order. Is that the same for everyone?

Why go to so much trouble?
Ebay or Amazon sell them - they're not that exorbitantly priced either.

On any given day Amazon have a £50 to £60 premium on the Nexus 4 and Ebay is even worse.

Don't know about you but i'd prefer to save 4% with flubit rather than pay an extra 20%.

I used a long-existing google account (not my main one).

Ordered and used the Belfast Parcel Motel address.

Didn't change anything about my credit card account.

    All worked ok.

Oh right. I didn't realise it was that much extra on those sites. Just for convenience purposes I thought it might be a feasible option to check there.

Just ordered one of these using TunnelBear.

This is my last Android phone. If this one annoys me I'm getting an IPhone.

    Hi,

I ordered a Nexus 10 on friday using all the advice on Boards but i received two emails this morning:
    one from Google Wallet saying:
"Thank you for using Google Wallet. In an ongoing effort to provide a safe purchasing environment, Google reviews orders on a regular basis.
It appears that you have created multiple accounts in order to take advantage of our current promotion. However, creating accounts in this manner is not allowed under the terms of this promotion. As a result, we have suspended your account and its associated transactions. You may continue to make purchases with your original Google Wallet account at this time.
The promotion terms were developed to ensure a positive user experience for everyone. If your account use continues not to comply with these terms, you may not be eligible to make purchases through Google Wallet in the future. "
and the second from Google Play:
"Google Inc. has cancelled your order. You have not been charged.
This order was likely canceled for one of the following reasons:
Details provided for your credit card do not match those on-file with your financial institution.
The address information provided was incomplete and could not be verified.
To block an attempt to purchase more than the maximum allowable devices.
Please visit Google Wallet to verify or update your account information. Be sure that your full billing address is complete and matches those on file with your financial institution or credit card company.
For further information, please visit our help center, or call us at 1-888-4UNEXUS."

What i want to ask is:
    1. Are people living in Ireland not allowed to purchase from Google Play? What i mean is i used Tunnelbear to make it look like i was a UK user so that i could complete the order. When i contact Google Support regarding the cancelled order & suspended Wallet account do i have to pretend i live in the UK?

    2. What documents do i have to send to unsuspend my Google Wallet account? and again do i have to hide the fact that i live in Ireland?

    3. When contacting Google should i be using Tunnelbear?

    Thanks!!

I think that the problem is that so many people are ordering the phone using the same delivery address. Google is somehow getting a lot of orders to Parcel Motel at Newtownabbey. And that caused the alarm. Just a thought.:(

Thanks for your reply marwys, maybe that could be it but what do i do now?

By the way i phoned my bank (BOI) this morning - i had added the PM address as a delivery address on my BOI Mastercard last friday - and they told me that if somebody phoned up BOI to check the address all would have been fine but if they use some automated process to check then the Northern addresses can show up as "incomplete address".

I'm worried now as my Wallet account has been suspended and i don't know how much information i can give them when i contact them with the problem.

Maybe that's what's happening here also, which could be why my two orders were canceled. I'm waiting on my offer from Flubit (as of yesterday evening) before I purchase again. Can't be had with using Google directly anymore.

I was stuck there for a fortnight Captain Morgan. Phone was eventually shipped last Thursday, 3 days after I confirmed on the phone that the order was to be cancelled.

Got an email this morning advising it was too late to cancel because they process the orders so quickly

Still no sign of a phone though.

If Google Search was run the way Google Play order fulfilment is run, we'd all be Binging (or should that be Bingling).

    so how does flubit work?
it looks like they dont sell to Ireland, so do you have to use Tunnelbear?

what link do you put in, the google play link?

    is it a trustworthy site?

Use parcel motel but you don't need to use tunnelbear, you can purchase from an Irish IP address.

Seems to be very trustworthy with lots of customers.

I believe you can pay through PayPal. Make sure you don't forget to change the shipping address to Parcel Motel in Newtownabbey before your payment is processed.

Also, the link you use is the one to the Nexus 4 product page. Stick in 8GB into the size box that comes up on the next window and add it as an "Option." They'll get back to you then in 48 hours or less. The savings won't be massive (4-6%) but I'd happily pay the same as on Google Play just to get the phone in good time and without hassle.

just wondering how flubit can find the nexus 10 or nexus 4 cheaper than Google Play...
Amazon is at least £50-£60 dearer.
I presume Flubit sell a brand new product in a sealed box? if so how could it be cheaper than on Google Play?
    Is there a catch?

Buying power, agree to buy large number and get a discount then pass a part of that discount on to the customer. Good feedback brings more to buy from them and rinse and repeat.

Edit: Two boardsies in line for my spare (mcw92 and emo72in that order). No more requests, thanks!

My backup order (N4 16gb) has finally shipped now (expect to collect tomorrow) and may be available if neither of the two boardsies in line above respond by tomorrow morning.

    PM (first come first served)

    Edit: Provisionally sold to BDJW

I'd understand that but for the fact that Amazon's buying power makes Flubit's look like an inverted micro-penis version of buying power.

You will almost certainly hear back in a day or few...

Cut and paste response referring you to the confirmation email you received a week ago which broadly mentions 2 day delivery.

Yep and that's why flubit have to get us talking about it by doing things the way they are doing things.
We ask how and why while all the while spreading the word and getting them known I suppose.

mine was on pre-order since the 16th. i got tired of it and ordered the second one yesterday.
today they both changed to "Your purchase is processing".
and now it says - ships by march 19 (the order from 16th) and ships by 28th (yesterday's order).
    wonder what's gonna happen next
