I did one too, got a 5% discount, and let it expire. My order got canceled last night due to having too many accounts and exploiting the promotion, blah blah. Funny, I only have the one account and order...

I have given Google one last chance and if they cancel it again I'll go the Flubit route also. I've done the order the exact same way as the last time only my address on the debit card is changed to Parcel Motel in advance of the order this time. If only they canceled the order an hour earlier, my Flubit offer would have still been valid and I'd have gone with them straight away. Lousy timing.

The new order has a shipping date of March 25 on the receipt and March 27 from the form on the link I posted earlier.

Yup, my one and only order. Well, it was before last night.

I was thinking the same thing also, it could very well be the address that's raising suspicion. This is why Flubit might be a good idea as they probably wouldn't be as concerned about posting to the address.

Agreed. I'd rather do it though Google also. I am still a tad skeptical about Flubit. Even if they're 100% legit and the nicest bunch of guys n' gals in the world, what happens if they go bankrupt or just decide to call it a day? It'll be fairly tough to make good on that warranty then. I don't know what the consumer rights are in cases like that. Does it entitle you to go directly to the manufacturer (Google in this case, not LG)?

+1 on anyone ordering from Flubit. Any updates would be greatly appreciated.

You're right, it could be a problem. But maybe with Flubit they'll get near-accurate dates from Google since they probably would be review exempt. I'd say they could also contact Google on your behalf to get an update, should they fall short of the dates promised. Or at least you'd think (hope) so!

But here's the thing. If you're not having any luck with Google, waiting it out with Flubit might be your only chance. Mine, too. Beggars can't be choosers, as they say! This is why Google is getting one last chance before I jump to Flubit. If (sorry to ask) your remaining order doesn't work out with Google, are you going to try again or head to Flubit next?

Oh I should point out that my new order is listed as "Pre-ordered" in the Play Store. My last order went straight to "Pending." Not sure if it's a good or bad thing at this point...

Well, no. First it has to be couriered to Flubit and then they'll courier it to Belfast. There's an extra step and that would add at least 2-3 days extra to the process.

Look at your expired offer. It says it'll be TNT'd to them first, with time estimates.

EDIT: Talking out of my ass, please disregard the above.

Shipped straight from google. Flubit never get what you order.

Really? Sh1t, that's not a good thing. I mean, it is a good thing where time is concerned but if they're already suspicious of the address, there's no reason for them to cancel on Flubit also.

how much? just ordering it now there too. i got 4% off
Same. £279.16 for the 16GB, incl. shipping to Northern Ireland. Not a huge amount but I think it's the easiest way to do it.

Why should they cancel it? The payment has gone via PayPal to Flubit for Google. PayPal don't share card details with merchants (Flubit) and the postal will be NI - as it could be for any purchase in NI. Google have no reason to cancel :/

Hopefully it won't take too long... I'll keep you posted anyway.

Hopefully you're right but it's the address in particular that could be the cause of a lot of the cancellations by Google due to too many being shipped there, they could easily suspect it to be exploitation by a small few, regardless of the credit/debit cards' addresses.

Nah. That doesn't make sense. I can understand why they would cancel orders with Irish billing addresses that they see. From a business point of view, I could accept that they might be afraid of fraud. In this case, I'd hope not! Have people had that error? Either way I'll let you know how long it takes

Ive order 3 things off them (albeit cheap enough things). They can be trusted. A couple of people have ordered through them already. If you're unsure just wait and see how they got on.

I ordered from Flubit last week too. 16GB for about £274 incl delivery to Parcel Motel.
I just spotted in the description of goods ordered that they've got 8GB, (with the SKU JLR997), even though my request and the price level paid are for the 16GB model.

I sent a query to Flubit just now, but wondering if anyone who already ordered this way came across anything similar?

    UPDATE

Got a reply from Flubit cust service within 20 mins confirming that the 16GB is on order- impressed.

Ordered the 16gb one this morning, just wondering how long will it take to either get cancelled or gets processed?

I ordered from flubit during the week & received the following email :
" Just to inform you regarding your recent order there is a slight delay with the supplier due to the increased volume of sales.

This order will be dispatched to you between 7-10 days, we will confirm the exact dispatch and tracking numbers closer to the date."

Second order cancelled. Same reason as the first. Made a new demand on Flubit and will go for it once they get back to me. If that doesn't work, it's favor asking time for a friend or family member on the UK mainland to take the order in and send it over to me. I really do suspect that the Parcel Motel address at this point is the cause of the suspicion. 'Tis a balls.

Yeah, used my main account that I've had since 2005. Perhaps you're right, but I'll go with Flubit for now. If that doesn't work out and I decide to ask a friend or family member in the UK to do the honors, I'll use a sparkling new account then.

Now how the f*ck do I get my Play Store back to normal, it's still using the UK version even though I'm on it now with my regular Irish IP?! In-fact, it has been like that ever since the first order. Is that the same for everyone?
