Anyone having difficulty ordering the phone should try the website flubit.com
It will stop the issue of having orders cancelled as you pay through PayPal and just enter a new shipping address.
Working out at £11-45 cheaper for me.

Sorry I don't know of this site, can you explain how it all works?
    Looks very interesting!

    Hi everyone,

After several attempts, I have just received a shipping confirmation email from Google. The method which has finally worked for me was to use my own home address with the Parcel Motel postcode as the billing address, with the full Parcel Motel address for the shipping address. All done using Tunnelbear.

I ordered on March 13th, and the order was stuck on pending until this morning. Hope this is of help to some people!

Don't get too excited. Money has been blocked on my card for over 2 weeks now, all that entitles you to from Google Commerce is an endless stream of 'apologies for the inconvenience'.

It is very simple only used it the other day myself for the first time.

You just litterally go to the website. Copy the link to the google play site where the device is and request a price from Flubit.

Flubit then send you an offer for the item,( they say with 48 hours but received mine within a couple of hours) which for me was 11.45 cheaper.

You then pay by paypal and use ParcelMotel.

If nothing else it is very useful in terms of knowing that when you place the order it is not going to be cancelled or anything.

Flubit are legit. They negotiate a deal with different suppliers and pass the discount onto you. It will be brand new and sealed, the origin will be on the invoice you receive with the nexus.

I don't know of anyone matching Googles pricelet alone beating it, if there was then this place would have found them and I don't see Google offering it to flubit at a lower price than usual.

Having successfully ordered and received my Nexus 4, I have now just had my order of the bumper cancelled.

It really does seem to be hit and miss.

    Thanks for info!

On the off chance it would it would be legit I went ahead and put in a link last night. Today they got back to me with an offer working out at 325 Euro for the 16GN N4! Now that's a good deal.

Anyone gone from a GS3 to a N4? I'm thinking of making the jump!

How the hell are Flubit managing to do this with an item as in-demand as this one?

They seem to check out as all above board, but I don't understand how they're getting them out cheaper than Google manage to.

You deal with flubit. But you would send the item directly back to google as per flubits instructions.

Flubit say they are the supplier, but yet according to Fireworks Merchant LTD's contact page they are owned by Flubit
We are committed to creating improved offers on products and offering exemplary after-sale care. We do this by offering our services through the Flubit platform.
Or at least some way connected. All seems very strange.

Flubit is the retail end of it and fireworks is the supplier end. They have clearly set it up and structured it that way for some reason (tax or whatever).

Don't really get your questioning of flubit. It is a reputable company, as said by many boardsies who have used it, its been in a few newspapers and won an award (I'm open to correction on that bit, the person who set it up may have won something).

Nobody gets how they are getting the nexus stuff cheaper but evidentially they are.

This is why we're asking questions, and they're legitimate questions to ask. If someone was selling it cheaper than Google anywhere in the world, let alone the UK I wonder why no one from this thread, or in the Android community knows about it.

I don't see Google making any kind of deal here. It also doesn't explain why prices are different, someone on here posted yesterday that Flubit could get it £12.45 (I think) cheaper, they offered it to me £13.58 cheaper.

Only Flubit know how they are getting it cheaper than the playstore. Nobody on boards will be able to tell you. They are legit and if you order through them you will (for the time being) be getting it directly from the playstore cheaper than ordering directly.

If you want to question the integrity of flubit, that is an entirely different matter, and I recommend you post in the BA thread for it.

Have you used this, have you received an item?

Did you need to add parcel motel to your paypal account or were you able to include it on flubit?

I have my own theory about them, probably best I don't put it on the internet anywhere though :)

I ordered a Nexus 4 yesterday using an Ulster Bank Visa Debit card, and set my shipping address and billing address to Parcel Motel in the north.

To get onto the UK Google Play store in the first place I used a UK VPN connection over PPTP, so I didn't need to fiddle with any third-party software. But, whatever works is fine. I haven't heard anything back yet, apart from the initial order receipt, but after reading some posts here today, I got a bit paranoid (hopefully needlessly), so I just now changed my home address in Goolge Wallet to the Parcel Motel one and in Gmail I changed my country to the UK, as some people here have posted about doing the same.

On the advice from Danger781's guide earlier in this thread, I have also just rang Ulster Bank's Anytime Banking and asked them to authorize the Parcel Motel address as a second billing address. They told me it's not possible to add a second billing address so I asked them to outright change my account address to Parcel Motel up north instead, which they did after warning me of the risks in case something unexpected goes wrong with my account or card (for legal compliance, due to the calls being recorded). Hopefully it won't be too late as my order is still in the early stages and according to my receipt, my shipping date is "by March 22." I'll change my address and everything else back to normal once the Nexus 4 is delivered.

My address change seems to have taken effect quickly with the bank, hopefully quickly enough:
    245788.PNG

It's strange how some of you have been successful when you've used your Irish addresses on the payment method with the Parcel Motel postcode since Google state that the shipping address and the billing address need to be the same. Google need to get their stories straight as I've also noticed that you can read up on the shipping procedure on more than one page in their support area with two different sets of information. It's a maze trying to find anything in there.

I think the method most likely to succeed is the one where you use Parcel Motel as the shipping address and billing address on Wallet, and with your bank. The only reason I'm still a bit paranoid at this point is because I changed my address with the bank the day after the order was made, so it's just a matter of whether they have verified the address with the bank or not at this stage. If the order gets canceled, I'll simply do it again with everything set as it is right now.

I'm far too impatient to try different methods to see if my paranoia was justified or not. I'll post back when I receive an update, good or bad. Fingers crossed!

Thanks to everyone who has posted about their experiences, it's been a help to me and I'm sure many many others also.
