Presumably as a chief mourner she was walking behind the hearse snapping away with her phone.
God, is there no limit to the stupidity of some people?

Also did she 'check in at'

Am I the only person who finds this fcuking hilarious? that's fraping done properly.

Last year I attended the funeral of someone who had meant a lot to me based solely on internet correspondence, I learned of his death through Facebook, I spent shy of a weeks wages at the time getting to the thing, which was a logistical nightmare given I got no time off, and I was certainly grieving, so no, I don't find it funny that someone could be put through that for nothing.

I would consider 'fraping done properly' as something silly/funny which might embarrass the person but not cause any harm or damage. I don't think pretending your own father is dead (that alone is fcking creepy and horrible), upsetting who knows how many people and tricking them into going to a funeral is hilarious, no. I think it's really, really weird and demonstrates that something isn't quite right in the person's head.

    But maybe that's just me.

    I think it's comical :pac:
People will look for any reason to automatically dismiss something as not funny when it domes from Facebook.

Whether it comes from FB or not it is not funny.
IMO jokes about anyone's death is about as funny as cancer.
If my brother or sister pulled a stunt like that on FB I'd lose it.

    Subjective.

People have differing views of what's funny and what isn't.

Yup one persons 'funny' is someone else's 'bad taste'

I've a fine sense of black humour, but I don't see how making people believe that someone they know has died, and having them attend a non-existent funeral, is funny.
I just don't see where the humorous element is. There's a big difference between dark comedy and simply being a d*ck to people.

Some think it's funny (the fake funeral thing) more think it's not.

    Can we move on now?

No, this is getting intense and could, ironically, end up in a funeral.

I don't understand the reference? Are you suggesting there aren't an endless stream of iPhones and MacBook Pro's being given away on the Facebooks?

Why would someone lie on the interwebs?

So my cousin put up a status today...

"Lyk iff yhoo tink im sexii xxx"

followed by a picture of her....in what can only be described as a low cut belly top which resembled a bra and teeny tiny short shorts...

    She's 13...

This makes me weep for humanity.

I seriously think I'm going to have to unfollow this thread as its becoming more depressing than an episode of Jeremy Vile which I refuse to watch.

  • Girl I know had a baby yesterday and her partner posted up a pic of the baby on his Facebook. He obviously didn't know how to tag her in it, so only his friends/mutual friends saw it and not her friends. Apparently she was really annoyed and told him to sort it out. He managed to 'share' the pic, but it didn't come up in the newsfeeds or something, so none of her friends have liked it.

Now, I know having a baby is exciting and you want to share it with everyone, but can you not wait a few days? Surely the priority should be spending time with the healthy baby you were fortunate enough to have, and your partner, and not worrying about how many Facebook likes you've received?

Desperate people craving attention. I have seen one when the bride checked in at the church and immediately after the ceremony (5 mins after it ended) updated her name & status....Seriously is fb that important??
