I'm gonna order some plastidip to renew the door and bumper plastic strips. I had some crazy ideas then... tempted to use it on the badges and lettering but I don't know if that will be too much. It's black plastidip that I'm going to get.
Something like this...
and the chrome on the front grille too. Of course mine isn't anything close to an E class. :P
Is that too much?

Both front grilles on my car have been PlastiDip'd for a year now. Still looks just as good as it did the day I did it. Power wash and wash Mitt wash just the same as every other part of the car and no issues with it yet.
The only thing you need to be sure of is that the surface you're applying it to is properly clean. No other prep required.0 -

Actually just a thought, is there anything that can be done about stupidly dangerous patches of road (most likely due to crap repairs) ?
There's a spot just outside Athlone on the M6 (so 120km/h) where the camber of the road flips pretty much instantly. Much like this tbh from one second to the next

@ colm I'm guessing its old stock that wasn't sold for a few years? Or wasn't registered till 05? The last of those cars were made in about mid 2001, early Stilos are 01
I've seen a few 02 Bravos with aircon but 05 is a new one to me!
As for the wheel there's plenty on google like that. Not Irish, whoever it is mustn't value their own safety or even common sense atall0 -

I was just on a ford fourm advising some lad against this. Hey had templates printed out and all lol. I can imagine his thinking 'Oh that looks about right' starts drilling then :eek:. I posted that pic to show him and hopefully he will think twice about it.0 -
