    New Dreamcast release from NGDEVTEAM.

Still no sign of Sturmwind:( from Redspotgames. I think it has been a disgrace the way they handled the release delays and it's the last game I ever preorder from them.

Well, I've put the work out on AO and J+.
I'm looking for an Egret 2 and now the search begins :)
Really hope I can get one by the summer or the end of the summer at the latest.
Bloody rare yolks these days are the Egret 2's and 3's.
Hope you have better luck than my latest purchase!I was looking at blasts for a month and when I bought that one 3 came up for sale within a week.
Still tho, I know I'll get it sorted

What's the budget Steve? Knowing you money isn't an issue and you'll probably get two and vaccum pack the second for preservation purposes.
Presume this cab will be for tate mode only?

Anyway, these are a couple of expensive French based options:

Yeah, you'll get it sorted and I know what its like when you get one and its not working as it should (or at all :( )

The budget is yet to be decided but would be nothing too crazy. It'll be a lot more than some cabs I was trying to source over in Japan but that eventually fell through as the seller was a lunatic
Loads of Egret 2's and 3's, blast cities, you name it he had it at a great price. But as I said, he be crazy.

On another note, I see there's a nice perfect pdf copy of Hyrule Historia doing the rounds(without any pesky watermarks). Very handy to have a backup of it to stick on the iPad (for those who bought the book like myself of course :) )

    Sample (click for biggie):

Yeah but the intense story is kinda ruined by the obnoxious jazz music :P

I got stuck on that camera mission trying to get the hidden ending. The scoring system is insane. You don't get a good grade for how quick or accurate you are, you get a high grade if you finish the level with as lose to 10 seconds on the clock as possible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,183 ✭✭✭✭Atavan-Halen

    Isn't the secret ending where
yer man is just standing there with yer one as hostage?

Don't know why I spoilered that, nobody is going to play it that far :P

Yes but amazingly enough there's actually some different levels as well.

    Still not worth it.

On a brighter note, my wife has assented to trying a video game, shock shock horror horror shock shock horror!
    So, what should I pick?
Bearing in mind I only get one shot at this!

    Gearbox Software.
    Years of development.
    Space marines.
    Corridor based FPS.

As strong as the franchise is, it was always going to be a bit ****e. Maybe now they'll give us the damn Alien survival horror they should've spent their time and money on instead!

Anything aliens related be it games or movies these days is bound to be tripe. Last time there was anything good was in he 80's.

Even if they made a survival horror game it would probably be hyped up but rubbish, shame really.
