With my play account order status showing this:

Google were able to tell I was using an Irish credit card (AIB visa card) even when I had AIB card services change my address to Parcelmotel Norther Ireland. When I switched to an AIB Visa debit card and used the same address in NI the orders shipped.

So you just used a Visa Debit card with parcel motel postcode or did you get the debit cards address changed to parcel motel also?

With the AIB visa debit I did not register/change my home address with the bank to Parcelmotel NI.
My understanding is Google can tell from either the numbers on AIB visa cards or from the fact they were used with a previous google play account that it was an Irish purchase.

It looks like visa debit and possibly mastercard orders are not automatically flagged as Irish orders.

If it helps anyone, I got a successful transaction (product has confirmed as shipped)

I added a new Ulster Bank visa debit card to my google wallet, my shipping address was the Co Antrim Parcel Motel and my billing address was my Irish home address with the Antrim post code on the end.

How did you add the postcode to an IE address? There is no field for it. Also, when entering the address, the first item is a drop-down to select the country. Did you choose IE or GB?

I picked GB, then put my regular irish address in, then just put the Antrim post code in too :-)

I placed it at 3:03 on the 30th.

I think I might have figured out why my orders in Dec and Jan were both cancelled, but I'm gonna dig around a bit more before I explain!

used my main gmail account this time, funny that they didn't lock my account though, last Dec they locked the new account I created for ordering.

Same default message,

This order was likely canceled for one of the following reasons:
Details provided for your credit card do not match those on-file with your financial institution.

The address information provided was incomplete and could not be verified.

To block an attempt to purchase more than the maximum allowable devices.

I only ordered the one, card details should be fine I know I set my billing address to GB but this hasn't been a problem for others. Billing address was my own address as well.

Edit: I've sent an email off to support asking why the order was cancelled, we'll see what they say.

Probably wont be long till I get mine canceled... I only ordered mine last night about 21:00 I've just checked the account and the date has changed on the order from the 31st to the 1st of feb anybody else's change...

Just for the record I used my years old google account,
Aib visa debt with own address and par:mot post code,
Postal address par:mot,
I also ordered a few free books a day or two before hand to see if they would reject the card then but the didn't !!!

The first time in December I did the same myself except I ordered a film, no trouble with that, following day I ordered the nexus and a few days later it was cancelled.

It must be with all the orders going to the parcel motel address the number of devices limit must have been reached and they've started cancelling orders regardless of the name.

I placed 5 yesterday first 3 in error cancelled 2 and they cancelled the 3rd I then went again with another cc, and their now pending for 18 hrs??

Yep, I'd guess the limit of devices per address didn't hit at that point. Going by one of the posts earlier who used his Mastercard I was very surprised it got through as many many people last December got cancellations. That's what has convinced me it's the device limit.

If they thought my account or card was potentially fraudulent they would have locked my account, that didn't happen though.

Just been playing around with the play store ordering a few more books but I can't seem to be able to order any of the nexus 7 or 10 guides???

I have ordered 2 or 3 other books and they went through no problem but I keep returning a technical error on the nexus books...?

On the normal books you just order and it's done but with the nexus guides it brings you into a google wallet conformation page and this is where it returns the technical error??

I think it might be an early sign of the inevitable, can anyone else confirm this?

Did you see my previous post? I posted images of my setup :-)

1. On the last step of payment the billing address and shipment address were both parcel motel

2. On account details page I have my home address and my own mobile number in there

3. I rang my bank and had the address added to my account as a note

4. Used my own personal Gmail which I've had for years

5. Used my credit card (Mastercard). The same card that I use to set up Google Music a few days before.

I don't think I've missed anything :-)

Well guys,

A friend of mine ordered me 2 on Wednesday.

He lives in the Uk so presumably used his UK bank card (or CC) and shipped it to My Parcel Motel address.

He ordered roughly 3:30, (one 8gb and one 16gb). He got a confirmation today at about 9:30pm. So i dont think parcel motel have reached their quota or anything like that

Thanks for posting that, I've just about run out of ideas, I got an email back from support at 2am - no new information to share yet it's been passed along to another support section of google

I've forwarded your case to a specialist to begin working to resolve your order cancellation as soon as possible.

I'll update as soon as they get back to me.

I ordered 16gb Nexus 4 on Wednesday using Parcel Motel Antrim address. I changed my credit card billing address a couple of days beforehand to the Parcel Motel Antrim address.
My order is still in Pending status in Google wallet.
Anybody else have a pending order? Is this a normal status after 3 days or should it have moved to confirmed or something similar?

Yes mine has also changed to 1st February on the play store.
It's still pending and has a Jan 31st date on google wallet.
I'm using the setup as you are.
