Hmm, seems like miscommunication going on there. Defo say it to the physio and see what he says. And if you;re not happy with that, then back to the doctor.

Thanks :) and thanks to AH Yeah.

I didn't drive apart from very small trips to the shops (literally less than five mins) until the surgeon told me the first week of Jan (maybe 8th Jan) that once I had clutch control I was fine.

Now I know I'd get tired in rush hour traffic, so I never drove in that, and when talking to the physio yesterday I emphasised that, he said "well if you got a stab of pain, in an emergency, you might not be fit to react" and tbh I thought he was being overly cautious. I'm not driving at the moment as I'm not going to take the chance.

The thing 1 is getting better and thing 2 is the issue and vice versa is really pissing me off. The stupid injection hasn't worked, and I'm really really struggling when I go into the office.

I think I just want a consensus so I hear the same message from both and don't yo-yo from one thing to another. I like my physio, and I agree with him that I need two crutches for more than about an hours activity, but I kind of feel like there's serious ill communication between him and the surgeon.

Well it's been a while since the surgeon has seen you. Go with the physio as he's seen you more recently but definitely bring up your concerns with him on your next visit. Just say you're confused by it all.

Was last Monday i.e. 21st Jan! I saw the surgeon for my injection and he told me to aim to improve every week!

Physio this week puts me back on two crutches and says don't drive!

    I'm not blessed with patience.

edit should have clarified, he told me to drive on Jan 8th and on Jan 21 said to aim to improve and get off crutches.

Mine proposed with a picture on an iPhone. I thought it was so very him I nearly would have been surprised if it was any other way!!

(That was NOT the reason I said no btw :P )

We all went go karting tonight!! It was awesome but I'm pretty sore now.

Two crutches are better thab one, I found when I was down to one crutch I was walking funny and it actually caused more problems

Still awake, can't get my work done, this is so frustrating

i went down to one only after i was walking properly with one but my leg is not strong enough for more than about an hours activity on one, two takes some of that pressure off :) cannot get to sleep:(

    I've a meeting today and I'm absolutely sh!ttin it.

I'd rather just ring now and say I can't make it but I know that would be stupid.

I need to study some stuff before going and I am putting it off so much that it's starting to make me feel sick. I feel so stupid today.

As I was driving to work this morning there was a big gang of crows in the middle of the road having a conference about worms. When they heard the noise of the bike they all flew away but one of them caught the side of my helmet with his wing. HOLY MOLY! There's some power in them wings!

I have weird lumps on my head  one is behind my ear, this is a new one and one is on my neck, just below hairline at the back, that's there months. They both feel the same, hard and not squashy. Weird.
Could they be glands? Everytime the OH has a cold, he gets lumps behind his ears and on his neck. Maybe have them checked out by your gp.

Actually both answers are correct for the different groups.

Patients are asked not to wear it as it interferes with the pulse oximeter.

HCWs are asked not to for infection control.
Chefs as well are not supposed to wear nail varnish for hygeine reasons, you can't see if your nails are clean or not.

Thats the thingy like a grey clothes peg they stick on your index finger is it? Why did they want to take my toenail polish off before the C-section then- was it for infection control? Thats what I thought initially until I was told about the oxygen thing.

I was so proud of myself to be able to paint my toenails all by myself at 39 weeks pregnant. They were glittery mauve and very pretty. :D I didnt do them for the birth or anything, it was for a prior occasion.
Jeebus, I couldn't do anything below the belly for the last month of my pregnancy!

There's a massive hole in the crotch of my favorite pyjama pants. Balls. They're too comfortable to throw out. :(
Could you sew them back together? If it's in the crotch, it's probably along the seam so it should be easy enough!

Feel thoroughly awful today. I don't know how I endured my 8am class. In the library now attempting to do some reading for my next class, ugh I wish I could skip it. Can hardly breathe and have horrible pain in my lungs. I could do with going to the doctor but money is very tight until my grant comes through, which might not be for a few weeks. I don't have any hours in work until the 8th of February either. Boooooo! Seriously long day today too, was in at 8 and won't be leaving until 9.15 tonight. :(:(
