Yep that's the right way to do it. Some dogs can be very uncooperative though.. :o

Oh normally I wouldn't even attempt this with my nutter but he's so sick and needy at the moment I might just get away with it!

haha I'm glad we don't have that problem anymore, the dogs trust me so it's not bother for me to get their mouth open and drop the pill in. I just hold it between my index finger and thumb and drop it down. :) It used to take about 30 minutes to give pills to Penny. Now I can get 3 dogs done in 30 seconds. I'm so awesome.

Poor pup. Hope he'll be ok.

If you can't get it into him call into your vet and see if they'll give you a cat pill popper, they're very handy. :)

Im getting two out and was told it would be about €1600 if i didnt have health cover.
Well, balls. Unless I beg the folk down the credit union, I don't have access to that kind of money. :(

When I had my wisdom teeth out a few years ago it was €1,800, thankfully I had private health insurance at the time.

Poor bf is getting a flu or something :( He didn't eat his dinner as he wasn't hungry and he just isn't himself all evening :(

Has anyone here gone from a disorganised and chaotic lifestyle to good time management and an organised way of living?

    I need to learn this.

Actually both answers are correct for the different groups.

Patients are asked not to wear it as it interferes with the pulse oximeter.

HCWs are asked not to for infection control.

Ugh, life is chaotic at the mo! Messy room, cant find anything, late or last minute for everything. I need some organisation in my life, my time management sucks!

So take a night off from the horse and do your room. Then keep on top of it.

Set your alarm earlier than you need to so you have time to do anything that might pop up. Leave that few mins earlier in case you need to pop to the shop before your journey or in case you need to go back to the house/work....

Get a diary for appointments and the likes. I have one and my time management has improved somewhat.

Spend a whole day cleaning your room and sorting it all out. In your wardrobe separate work clothes/going out clothes/casual clothes from left to right. Or pants, fancy tops/knitwear/blazers etc and dresses. In drawers do the same with tops and that if you have one. Underwear in one, socks/tights in another and if you have no space for bras, create a bra hanger like i did.

I write things down in my phone calendar all the time now, especially birthdays
And at work, I keep lists and use outlook to set a lot of reminders. It helped a lot, and that spilled over into helping me organise my studying - making plans and picking out weak topics etc.
Really have come a long way I guess

My room can be a kip at times, but then I get sick of it and do a total overhaul
I will be going through my chest of drawers this weekend, I need to throw out a load of clothes

I did this. But in reverse.

    :p

Seriously though, trying to keep your stuff neat and tidy saves you so much time and hassle. I'm super tidy, everything has its specific place in my room. It's great for knowing when my sister's been pinching things :pac:

My time keeping has gotten worse since I went to college though, but I'm always on time to meet people. Pity most people don't extend the same courtesy :(

It all seems so simple when you say it like that but its the keeping the room tidy, organising everything, getting up early and leaving early I cant do. If I could do that it would be simple :p

    No :(
I do the whole setting the alarm thing early, but in the cold light of day, deep down I'm fooling nobody and I know I really have an extra half an hour in bed.

Edit: sometimes I think English is my second language :o

    Oh. Awkward.

I r tired today, forgive me.

You know what, considering I should have had a bad day with the boy being a douche, I actually had a really good day! Work went really well and I was on top of everything, and I even got a compliment from someobe in work who never gives compliments. And horsey was great. :D

Hard to explain it probably but I just open their mouth by gently squeezing the sides and putting the tablet in their throat. Close mouth. Hold mouth. Rub neck. Works 98% of the time. Sometimes you'd have to do it again but you'll very rarely struggle to get the tablet down. :)

edit: see from about 50 seconds here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3yHgItqGmo

If the above does not work, then crush tablet, find cheese/ham/peanut butter, put crushed tablet and watch in wonder as resistant dog slobbers for their treat :)

I am super organised in work, tidy desk, things all in the right place, to-do lists to get my stuff done.

Then I'm somewhat organised at home, but as much.

People in work are generally amazed that I do not have a super tidy, clean, clothes sorted by color type house. :)

They consider my car to be a train wreck.

I has a question for all ye fellow students.

This similiarity thing, is it checking how much you've robbed from other articles/websites?

If so what's a bad score?

I was told my wardrobes are kinda OCD like. I dont think so at all. Everything has a place and i put my stuff in their place. I cant sleep in a messy room so would rather get out of a warm bed and put things away than try sleep with stuff lying around.

You can pay me in a big steaming mug of B :)
