It's based on MAME 0.139u1 which is a much newer version than the other version of MAME that was up on the app store last year(and got pulled after a day or so). It's also got iCade support built in.

Remember my get about my pup? finally got my dad to change his mind on Jack (there's only one dog called Jack for me!) and he picked Louie after Suarez (then kept thinking of Simpsons when they're naming Bart "you can't call him that, they'll call screwy Louie!"

Definitely play Persona 3 first because there's a lot of people on the jrpg forum that love P4 but couldn't get on with P3. The common theme there is that they started with P4 first. Persona 3 is a superb game but as said Persona 4 smooths out everything in P3 so well that it's hard to go back if you played it first.

Thanks a lot for the heads up. Had to update my iOs to 6 but grabbed it there last night. Do you know of any free apps or options to use to get into the directory structure? The IExplore option is a charged download.

iexplorer is free but its only a demo, i just downloaded and lobbed all the roms i wanted into the mame folder, meh its not like i'll use it much but its handy to have there

Lol yeah. I have about 10 ways to play mame already. It'll be handy to have on a bus or whatever, but mainly I think I just want it because apple don't want me to have it.

Get an Icade if you have a decent version of Mame on the Ipad, it's pretty good, although you ma might want to replace the buttons and stick.... they're very heavy and a bit sh1t.

Agreed. By the bad reception I saw it getting, I was really expecting a turd. It's grand though. Nothing amazing, but it passes the time. It certainly doesn't compare to Doom I and II.
