Bad things happen to both good and bad people as if there was a negative and positive electrical cross-over slowly deviating in a slow moving wave and at a certain time electrically the positive connects with a negative and that's when bad stuff happens and visa versa with the negative cross-over in electrical behavior, who knows.

I never really believed in it. Ever since early primary school i hated every aspect of religion, and questioned it. I actually lived in fear until my early teens because I thought there was something wrong with me for not being like everybody else.

    Oh well.

Nah, his music is still going strong and always will but the lad himself will fade as time goes by, but we all fade a bit as time goes by.

    Dirty old town.

You were one of the intelligent ones and could think for yourself without been programmed so you were basically far ahead in thinking than the poor brainwashed souls.

I gave up on God when I realised that I am Jesus.
    You're late.

Never. You have free will. He has prepared a place for you in the next dimension. Earth is just your training ground. Be ready. Live your life best you can, tough as it is for most.

I remember while practicing for my first holy confession thinking "what is this ****e really?"
i was a bright kid and had started reading about history and thinking about religion and the more i read, the more i could start to poke holes in it. How people still persist with it nowadays is beyond me.

In all due respect...You say that "he" as in God is a male, physical matter human being but how can a God be physical matter and a male human being that created all this infinite universe of which we are only an invisible tiny part ?

A man cannot exist anywhere higher from ground zero static gravity grounded as if a human being even went up 30,000ft without pure oxygen they die of cold and oxygen deprivation so how could "he" God as is said and talked about as if he is a man how could such a delicate human have created the universe and everything in it ? if God is a physical man ?

Wheres ming when you need him...

understanding of god failure, it doesnt make sense it just takes belief ;)
thats what it boils down to, you either believe **** or you dont in religions case. in that way the whole god thing is simple, answer god did it/made it
you can see the draw to an all conquering simplistic view that the whole world can be summed up in in one sentance

You shouldn't search God through narrow and twisted brain. You should search God through your own wisdom. There is gem inside you.

I understand the point you make which is valid but narrowing down the God structure as in the creation of all things in the universe maybe this simple picture below is God as nothing can be activated to live without the spark of an electrical connection...

and then were back to what makes that spark and connection as in triggers it...god! [or something:p]

at some level it all comes back to things we cant explain, and then we should just put the god label on it and close the pandoras box! its a force which has no conscience or thought process to me, like the laws of nature, similar kind of thing really.

I will never know, and for that reason I dont care, lifes too short ;)

I know. But as per usual, there's a need to know what this God is, whether electrical energetic particle make-up or something else. I refuse to believe in a god that my mind makes up as a comfort solution to make my ego satisfied, i need answers and so do we all but living on a false premise or made-to like scenario is not scientific, nor does it help.

People get comfort from believing in a supernatural man that they call God but is this really getting us anywhere closer to finding the reality or dimensionable aspects of the God question.

Fair enough, if people are happy within themselves in the belief they have then i commend them and respect them no matter what but in my whacko brain i need answers and i will die like many a man/woman i'd say without getting closer to my question unfortunately but i will keep philosophizing to get closer to the reality of this God scenario.

Just never made sense to believe in something I couldn't see or experience.

Sounds crazy as well to belive in a guy that possibly never existed and hasnt been seen. What made it worse was people forcing the crap on me, especially in school.

Yes i agree. I went to an all brothers school called belcamp college on the malahide road and the religious brainwashing we all had to take was not productive to say the least but i rebelled and asked the questions and as i did i was thrown out from religious class never to reside there again thankfully.

parts of this brainwashing are still in-depth deep inside us all from back in the day as we will say, including myself...oh my God, if something happens or we will say jeasus christ if we see or experience something shocking, it's deep seated.

Brain-washing of human beings is illegal but back in the 70's 80's it was used forcefully on us all and of which was totally wrong.

Still, believe in the magic of philosophy and forward your mind to the outer curve of thinking on a long trail to seek the unexplained God scenario or particle.

I gave up when I aquired enough knowledge of science and common sense and learned how to think logically. It's a pity a lot of people in this country can't do the same.

Your comment marked in Bold above is A typical of an uneducated scientist example of the worst kind as a real scientist will strive to find answers to all theories and hard-life questions, this is what makes a scientist and if they do not as in your example-comment then they are not doing their job correctly.

Science = Strive to find answers to all mankind's questions.
