When did you give up on God

Some lad down the pub told me he didn't exist, I wasn't in any position to argue

I never gave up on God, there is someone out there looking after you, or so I believe, I got out of many a difficult situation with his help, that is my belief. But as regards the church I gave up on that in 1963 when I was 13.

Never really believed in God. I didn't think anyone 100% believed in it as a kid.

Don't think I ever actually believed in him/it.

Only times I was ever brought to mass was by my drunken,violent arsehole father every second Sunday.

Reckoned if god was real there'd be no way he'd let a lad like him into his gaff.
