Is he still not a Real Madrid player?

If thats the case there's no reason why Liverpool should or would have to pay if he goes to Dortmund.

I guess it depends on the contract. I presume though that if we agreed a season long loan with Real then we're responsible for this wages for the year so if we want to cut that short we'd have to find a club happy to take him for the rest of the season if Madrid don't want him back?

Dortmund Sporting Director said this morning they'd take Sahin back but it would be dependent on wages. Real are hardly going to subsidies his wages to move so either he'll have to take a cut or you would think we'll have to keep paying part of them to move him on. Would be an incredibly messed up situation but it's Liverpool so who knows!

Ryan Nelsen going to Toronto as their head coach,he has been QPRs best defender by a mile this season and a big loss for them.

Kieron Dyer has been released by QPR too.

Milan being linked with Davide Santon in Tuttosport today.

Selling Mesbah to Parma and Antonini to Galatasary to pay for it.

    Wouldn't be a bad signing.

Sky Sports Italia claim an unnamed EPL clubs has made a 22M + bonus offer for PSV midfielder Kevin Strootman.

I thought Rudolph came out and categorically denied that Utd would be buying anyone in January?

Looks a little disillusioned with Newcastle. Lost his way there over the past month, he's been awful.

As regards Lampard to United; based on the Scholesy/Giggsy example there's at least another 6 years left in Frankie Lamps if he went there!

Plus theres a good chance he would be reunited with the Special one! ;)

As a Utd fan, do we really need another attaxk minded midfielder?

We need someone in there that can bully the opposition midfield and take the ball rather than Carrick like 'intercepting' it!

We should throw a pile of money at everton for afroman! Apparantly he prefers defencive midfield as well.

Surprised Chity have not been linked with a host of names as of yet?

Taking it a bit to heart aren't we? Or was the only way that could be taken was a malicious attack on the United manager? Couldn't be a jest could it?

David Meyler to Hull, he'll get plenty of football there and Hull should get at least a play off place. Hopefully he'll be back in the premier league soon.

Just reading on Twitter, David Vaughan has passed Meylers DVD's on to Frazier Campbell, biggest hint yet that he will be following him.

Saw a few things in The Times today.

Astori to Southampton (Supposedly beating off Pool)

    Graham to Sunderland for £4m

    Dunno how true they are

Disappointing Meyler wasn't able to establish himself at Sunderland, hopefully he can get some regular game time at Hull.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

More to do with the fact that Vaughan and Meyler won't see each other any more while Campbell and Meyler are great friends and will be in contact regardless.

Although it's quite possible Campbell will be off anyway I think you're reading too much into that comment on Twitter.

Probably am but I wouldn't be the first :D

I think Bruce always liked Frazier and he's not getting too much of a look in at the moment, Quinn said the other day that he has been putting huge effort into training so maybe he has his heart set on breaking back into the team.

Graham on the way up to discuss personal terms according to The Times:

    http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/premierleague/article3650698.ece

Decent player but he doesn't give us anything we don't have and he's a diehard Newcastle fan. Connor Wickham should be used instead.

This won't end well I feel.

Spurs and Fenerbahce favourites to sign Belhanda: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jan/08/tottenham-fenerbahce-younes-belhanda-montpellier

Strange one for Spurs after signing Sigurdsson and Dempsey. Belhanda would presumably like to operate in a similar sort of role.

AVB is going for the tried and trused 1-7-2 formation.

Montpellier rejected €9m from Fener for him according to Julien Laurens.

With Yanga-Mbiwa looking likely to leave too that's 3 big players they'll have lost from their Championship winning team.

Seems they want at least €12m, which I reckon is a bargain. Surprised there hasn't been more English interest.

Alfred N'Diaye completes his move to Sunderland. Really like the look of this boy, could be exactly what we need in the middle of the park:

    ndiayeshot.jpg?mw=655

3.5 year deal, undisclosed fee but it is €4.7m, with €2.5m up front.

Surprised to see O'Neill going abroad for signings but I won't complain :)

Sunderland now trying to sign Sengal CB Kader Mangane. Ex-Rennes now in Saudi Arabia and has handed in a transfer request to push through a move back to Europe.

6 foot 5 powerhouse. Nice to see O'Neill addressing our needs.
